"Poppo, that… is the most amazing thing I have ever seen," Perry says as his eyes light up with wonder. "Look at that cute bunny! How did it get so plump?"
Perry loves it so much.
"Hey boss, we found a super rare magic item here!" Perry yells towards Velon.
Perry points Velon towards Poppo's trinket that currently displays an illusion of a plump white rabbit hopping about. Perry's tail is wagging, "Isn't it amazing! This is an endless source of entertainment. I bet it's worth at least 200,000 gold!"
"If you think that's cool, just wait till we get back to the castle and we can show you a magic coin we found on our last adventure! I won't ruin the surprise, but it might keep you entertained for quite some time!"
"But for now which way do we go from here?"
Out of Character: I am not sure if detect poison is still active. It goes for 10 minutes. I'm hoping it can detect yuan-ti behind a door. Do people think it's worth the time to ritual cast it again when it runs up?
Velon stares curiously for a moment and then slowly lifts his gauntleted hand, palm up. A gold dragon the size of a teapot appears, half made of flame, half radiant light. It rears back and roars a silent roar, breaths a gout of flame, and then lies down and curls up to sleep. The miniature dragon disappears in a burst of sparks and light.
"I prefer my own, but I'm glad you like it." Velon gives Perry and Poppo a grin and a wink. He turns and slowly walks out, although they can hear him chuckling.
"Let's take a quick peak to the south in case there are any more toys, or devils, for Perry to play with and then let's get on the move to the north."
The group checks out the southern door. The room beyond appears to have once been a large library. The shelves now lie empty and covered in dust, their contents long since rotted away.
There is a large hole, obviously not a part of the original construction, in the eastern wall. It appears dark and damp.
A bit disappointed at the empty shelves, Lawrance uses his enhanced sight to peer deep into the hole, using all vision types he can. "Let's not get too close, but someone may have forced a secret door or something to make the hole."
Specific Action: Perception (W/advantage from robe).
"This must be the snake pit that the devils mentioned. I don't really want to get close enough to see if there is poison present."
