Nikolaos reaches into his pouch and retrieves a sling stone. He closes his hand around it says a prayer then opens his hand revealing a bright light.
"May Lathander light your way, Mari."
Because Tazskan, doesn't have any dark-vision, or infra-vision will enter the tunnel, in the middle, or rear of the group. Will wait, until everyone is ready then enter, following suit if required.
"If you wish all of us to go in Velon, I'm in," Tazskan speaks.
"However, as Poljen suggested, if you want Cratol, Poljen, Zarra and Mari to flush them out, I will be here in the library, to help kill them, "He adds.
"Your, call," He answer's.
Out of Character: If the majority agree with Poljen's idea, then Tazskan, will wait for them on the side of the hole, weapon drawn, at 33 or 34AT. Otherwise, will enter the hole as mentioned at the start in middle, or rear of group.

Mari takes the glowing stone with a smile." Thank you Nikolaos. I will put this to good use." She walks to the hole and enters. Mari will wait there. She drops the stone into a pouch once away from Niko.
Lia looks at Velon awaiting his decision." Sending just a few scouts ahead makes sense. They can move faster and quieter plus can escape much quicker than those walking suits of armor." She grins at Velon and Taz and shrugs.
Out of Character: : I apologize for not describing Mari better to the newcomers. She is a half-elf and has darkvision.

Velon hears everyone's ideas and then reacts to Lia's comment about walking suits of armor with by feigning offense. "Hey!" He gives a small grin.
Velon looks to Poljen and gives him a nod regarding his plan. "Hm, I don't love splitting up the party, but it is a good thought and probably worth the risk. May I add one condition, however? Could Amabalis accompany the scout group so the rest of us know if you are in trouble and need help?" Velon looks to Tazskan for his thoughts on this.
As the group departs down the tunnel Velon takes up a position opposite Taz and draws his war hammer. He gives the dragonborn a nod to indicate he is ready to dispatch any enemies that come through with his fellow paladin's help.
He looks back at Lia and just shrugs his shoulders, not knowing how the plan will go. He takes a moment to look into her eyes and smile as any moment to appreciate her is worthwhile. He has many fears but fighting here along side her is not one of them, although he's glad she isn't going down the hole with the others.
Lawrance looks at the hole and says to Poppo "we really should pick up that Arcane Eye spell." to Velon he remarks "You know you're going to have to go in there, right? They are going to find what we are looking for, and then we will probably have to fight them "
The scouts proceed into the passage, faint, barely discernible noises can be heard ahead, but it otherwise seems empty.
Soon, the passage opens up into a large cavern, its floor far below your current position. To most of you, the pit below is nothing but inky black. Zarra can see faint and slow movement on the floor below, but has difficulty resolving what she sees.
The tunnel you were following extends to the other side by a narrow sloping bridge. The stonework is sloped to either side, and visibly slick. Attempting to cross without some manner of anchor would be quite dangerous. You can see a door at the other end.
Out of Character: The cavern floor is 100 feet down. It will take a DC 10 acrobatics check to cross the bridge by default, DC 15 if wearing heavy armor.

Poljen says softly, "Let's get the others down here. This would be a good staging area to set an ambush, too. Mari, go lead the others down here. Cratol, Zarra and I will see about tying some ropes in place to help cross the bridge."
