Lawrance steps in with the group, unsure about the reception they are about to get. He keeps himself well hooded in his robes and cloak, watching in all directions in case of trouble. Observing the room in it's details, he takes note of anything interesting, listening to the conversation.
Specific Action: Perception with advantage on the room. Arcana for anything not recalled from the earlier details.
Out of Character: Perry sells ice to Eskimos.

Zarra will keep quiet, allowing her companions to lead this conversation though keeping her senses keen to danger or suprise as the drow tried to recall what she knew of the Dark Naga. She will also prepare herself for any words if deceit or insight in what "His Highest" might say.
Tazskan, will stay back from the front. Keeping quiet allowing Perry and Velon to speak. But with heightened alert for any deceit, and if the conversation takes a turn for the worst.
Attention inevitably getting pulled back to the immortal creature leading the Yuan-ti, Lawrance speculates mentally on the possible methods of it's resurrection ability and god-touched powers. He also ponders the reasons such a solitary creature would dominate a tribe of Yuan-ti. Admiring the sinuous lines and slightly disturbing ripples of scarcely flesh, he often finds himself bemused by it's motions.
Listening closely to the conversation in Infernal, he stands ready and guarded against sudden attacks.
The naga listens to Perry, then states in infernal, "Enough of the devil speech, it is not needful. I would have all understand this regardless."
Continuing in common, she states in a voice that seems to tug at some primal instinct of all who hear, evoking hints of fear, deference, and other emotions. Those used to dealing with the divine find it in part familiar. There is deific power in this being. Only a tiny scrap thereof, but it is there nonetheless. "You have shown remarkable skills to reach this place. That is worth some consideration at least."
Pointing the stinger on the end of her tail towards Varram, she states, "You wish to leave with this one? You might yet do so."
"He has promised great wealth in exchange for the right to remain in the world of the living. I have yet to purge from him thoughts of betraying that promise, but will not give up on the chance lightly. You appear to possess great wealth as well. Save me the trouble of breaking this one, match his offer, and you may have both him and safe passage out so long as you touch nothing and no one else."
Shifting the stinger to point at Perry she continues, "You will also be leaving the stolen gemstones, and they will not be counted as part of the tribute."
Out of Character: She will not be easy to satisfy in this manner, but items valued at a total of 10,000 gp would suffice. You do have it, but it would be a pretty harsh blow to lose.

Out of Character: Dai, the two robes we have, one was identified as a robe that allows the wearer to see all around. A lesser form of the RObe of eyes, I guess? What was the other one identified as by Poppo during he same timeframe? Based on 'Sane Magic Item Prices" What rarity would the Rod of Blood be?
What I am thinking is that these newly found items, conveniently provided by Varram's companions, would provide the value needed, based on rarity.
Perry gives Velon a look of worry then turns back to face the High Snake, “Very well, we don’t have to speak in Infernal. I just thought it might be a nice gesture is all,” Perry says apologetically.
“Your honorable Highest-ness, your terms seem very fair and we can certainly afford it. However, I’m reasonably sure this dwarf was lying to you regarding his “vast wealth” offer in order to try and save himself. You see, he and his group are scoundrels of the highest order. He was no doubt planning to betray you on that front. How about this, what if we agree to take care of that undead, immortal, mummy-like creature and his devils for you instead? Perhaps that’s a better deal for you than some magic trinkets?” Perry asks.
Out of Character: This is partly an attempt at gathering more info regarding how the snakes view Diderius and a stall tactic for Velon to prepare a contingency fight plan if the answer isn’t great.
Poljen listens as Perry and the naga speak past one another. He steps forward and pulls the pouch with the rubies in it from the bard's belt and holds it under his nose. "Yon creature politely asked for its property back, that you wrenched free from a statue that is probably important to them. Give it back… please." The last word comes through gritted teeth.
