Velon gives the naga a devilish grin as he blocks another deadly tail strike, feeling confident now that he can handle this monstrosity as long as the others can help fend off its magic. At that moment however he is partially turned around and his shadow rises up in front of him. He feels the shadowy black sword go right through his chest and internal organs, gritting his teeth and sucking in a deep breath of air, expecting it to be his last. For a second Velon is quite sure this is the end for him, such a would often being immediately fatal, but then realizes it is not nearly as bad as many he has suffered. He does not feel his body give out as his heart and other organs are destroyed, but rather necrotic energy clutching at his insides. He gathers himself and pulls away from the shadow and off of the dark blade, staggering a bit and gasping for more air. He stumbles back, staying close to the naga, waving his shield a bit at the shadow but likely ineffectively, risking another attack from it as he moves away.
The paladin focuses himself again, keeping one eye on the shadow to his left, looking up at the naga with the other. He does not know if he could kill the shadow, but he knows killing the naga will solve many of their problems. He strikes out again at the snake-god and readies himself for an attack from either foe. He tries to summon the magically enhanced vigor he had been sustaining prior to the necrotic attack.
Out of Character: Booming blade attack on naga and DC10 concentration save to see if Velon is still hasted and can make the extra strike from that. Will do a level 2 smite on a [Critical Hit] if applicable again. Moving to R69 to try to flank the naga with Cratol and get away from the shadow, risking an AoO.
Seeing Velon attacked by his own shadow, Nikolaos attempts to once again thwart the Naga's magic.
Specific Action: cast dispell magic on the shadow creation.
Poljen recovers, and strikes out at the abomination before him, scoring two solid hits. Cratol keeps hitting at the serpentine creature before him, he has trouble finding weak spots, but he does seem to be having an impact. Perry launches two bolts of force, one strikes home.
The naga, having been unsuccessful at penetrating Velon's armor, flicks its tail towards Cratol instead. The barb sinks in, delivering a hefty dose of venom to the monk's veins, causing him to feel woozy immediately. The creature tries to turn the battle in its favor again, focusing on the most physically resilient warrior on the field. Even facing away, Poljen can feel the creature's eyes burning into him, trying to suppress his free will.
Nikolaos attempts to dispel the creature formed from Velon's shadow, but it does not seem to take hold. Poppo hits the naga with a bolt of fire. Lia attempts to do the same with her bow, but something continually seems to be throwing off her aim, perhaps aftereffects of the lightning recently suffered. Zarra has more luck, sinking an arrow into the chest of the last abomination. It coughs up blood, weakly raises its scimitar once more, then drops it, falling to the ground soon after.
Mari shifts over and tries to strike the shadow attached to Velon, but she cannot seem to connect. More bolts lance out, with Lawrance and Tazskan hitting their respective targets. The shadow rears back on being struck with radiant light, it seems to shriek with pain, but emits no sound.
Velon moves, attempting to get away from the shadow. It does not strike at him as this happens, but flows along the ground as the paladin shifts, apparently still attached to him. Velon strikes out at the naga, divine energy coalescing around his blade as his second strike finds a sensitive spot. Once again, the shadow drives its blade towards Velon. It passes straight through the man's shield, this time seeming to cut through his neck. Again, the weapon causes none of the physical damage that might be expected, but its energy drains vitality from the paladin.
Out of Character: Velon takes 9 necrotic damage. Cratol takes 6 piercing damage, and needs to make a Con save DC 15 or suffer the same effects Poppo did. Don't forget Cratol has a bonus to saves for being next to Velon at the time the save is made. Poljen needs to make a DC 15 Wisdom save or become dominated. Because the naga is an actively hostile creature, he has advantage on this save.
Cratol looks at the stinger as it pulls free thinking to himself that he should have dodged the other way HE focuses his mind in resisting the poison as he gets ready to attack again.
Hope that he can save so he can continue to attack. Am not sure what the added bonus is so just adding my regular +1.
Poljen once again finds himself feeling as if his mind is retreating inside his head, and he is unable to control his own muscles. He grits his teeth, and tries to fight against the naga's magic…
Out of Character: : Not sure if I get Advantage again. If not, use the first roll, please.
Eyebrows raised as the shadow blade passes through his Ward without resistance, he launches another radiant bolt at the shadow, trying to disrupt it's essence, and interposes the Ward between the Naga's stinger and it's targets. Sending Gamliel to swoop in and try and distract the Naga from it's assaults.
Specific Action: Bolt to shadow, Bird to snake, ward to shield against any more stinger hits.Talons do 1 point. Moving to U67.

Perry fires two more crackling, dark purple beams of force at the naga, attempting to disrupt its spellcasting. Then, he moves back behind the large, conveniently-placed statue to his right for cover.
Specific Action: Eldritch Blast at the naga again to try and break its concentration. Moving 10 feet to the North to Z63 for cover.
