Trying to refine the images to the mask they seek, Lawrance dwells on the masks purpose - summoning of Tiamat. He also tries to Imagine a mask similar to the one they've already seen. "Remember its purpose, friends. It will call forth a dragon goddess!"
As the hunt is further refined, most of the images in the pool fade and vanish. Only a few dozen remain. Most of the white dragon masks remaining appear to be connected to a temple or shrine to Tiamat. One is even being worn by one of five standing around an obvious summoning ritual, though even a casual glance by the experienced shows it to fall far short of the power required to summon more than a faint presence of a deity.
The drain on those involved continues, starting to be tangibly felt.

Perry looks nervously at Lawrance, Velon, and the others as he feels his magical power being drained, "Uh, this is bad guys, is there anything else about this mask that you guys know? Didn't you find one like it before? Maybe if you guys think about a mask similar in power to the one you found before except white in color?"
"Yeah that's what I've been trying." Velon steps away from the pool and looks at Varram. He marches over and picks up the bound prisoner and drags him to the edge of the pool. He grabs the dwarf by the back of the hair and plunges Varram's head into the pool. Velon focuses his thoughts once again, telling the pool "This one!" "The one this dwarf desires! He has thought on the mask much in recent days. The one that he thinks should be his or perhaps has been taken from him!"
He pulls the dwarf's head out of the pool every 10-20 seconds or so and lets him catch his breath and then dunks it back in. "Look into this one's mind, great Diderius! Surely you of all wizards can see what he desires!"
Sweating a bit at the drain of magic, Lawrence calls out once again "The sister to the mask we've seen, one of five, sought by the cult to bring Tiamat to our Realm, anything important you can recall about its abilities or use! Last chance to find it before the cultists"
All but one of the images vanish, it expands to fill the entire pool.
You can see a well appointed study. A white dragon mask sits on a table between two human men. One in dark mottled leather, the other in fine robes. They seem to be arguing about something. A moment later, you can hear their voices.
The man in robes says, "I'm telling you, I have had to fend off far too many scrying attempts in recent months. None made it through the wards, but if this keeps up… We have to get rid of this thing."
His counterpart states, "Master Chembryl is not going to give this up until we find a way to make good use of it. You want to get rid of it, step things up on your research."
"I'm telling you, artifacts of this type are bad news, we'd be better off quietly dropping it off at a temple of Bahamut… "He looks up, towards you all, a panicked look on his face. "Damnit! Someone's scried through the wards, I didn't even feel it!"
The man in robes curses and casts a complex spell, your vision wavers briefly, then reaffirms, but the drain on you increases as the pool powers through whatever was just cast. It just became quite painful to maintain the link.
The mage curses again at his failure to kick you out, and casts a spell to envelop his room in darkness. Again the pool adjusts, showing you the room in the familiar grey shades of darkvision.
Out of Character: 13 psychic damage, A DC 15 Con save will cut that in half.

Velon pushes through the pain for an extra two seconds to try to survey the scene and look for any details that might give more of a clue as to who these men are or where they are. He might look at the scenery outside their window, if there is one, or if it is night or day, for instance, or if there is any writing that can be seen. He notes the features of both men as best he can in that second, such as hair color or facial hair.
He then thinks to himself and says aloud for his companions to hear. "Great Diderius, please use your great powers to show us the building and town the men you've just shown are in, or where on a map they can be found! Only you, the greatest divination wizard, could see through their wards and surely you know more!" He tries to picture the scene of the two men and what it may look like from afar, such as outside the building or on a nearby hilltop.
Out of Character: . ... Basically as if you were to zoom out. Rolling perception on the men and room along with the Con save, but if it needs to be Investigation let's just subtract 4 from the result.
