Calling upon Lathander to guide his aim and provide him with the power of his light to strike down the army before him as Geoffroy looks to the general that has revealed himself. He was a large brute, confidant in the size of his army as well in his own might.
With light and heat swirling around his arm to his hand as Geoffroy prays softly under his breath, gathering the energy of the ray before aiming it towards this Commander Cyanwrath and having the power release to shot towards the general.
Whether it it or not it hits, he calls in a loud voice to Cyanrath, "Greetings, I am Morninglord Goeffroy Charney, servant of Lathander. I advise that you retreat or else ill will fall upon you." The cleric felt somehow, in this situation, offering his name was appropriate though it may also give the impression that he was somehow the leader.
Offering a grim yet determined expression Geoffroy continues, "I shall warn you only once, that if seek to move forward with path that you have chosen neither I nor anyone else here will stand idly to allow you victory. Well shall fight back, and many of yours or even yourself will die if you do not retreat." The cleric's words were no mere bluff, he was making a promise and threat in return.

Targul, a little confused as to why nobody would want to check out the tunnel under the tower, sees Cratol about to square off against the dragon creature. He thought that Poljen was going to help him, but Poljen appears to be nowhere around.
"Well, if Poljen's going to just run off, somebody's got to help Cratol!" he thinks to himself. As such, he'll ready his great sword and prepare to join in any fight that Cratol is involved in.
And, should it come to blows, Targul prepares himself mentally to get the advantage on the beast. (Action Surge).
No one knew where Sar'ai was. The last anyone saw of her, she was meditating in one of the rooms offered by the fort. When inquired, guard said he thought he saw the half-drow leave the fort shortly before the alarm bells began ringing throughout the town, but he didn't think to ask to where she was headed.
The wizard stood and could only wait as from her view she saw the large half-dragon bark out as apparently he saw someone that was either out of her view or perhaps invisible. Then the voice of the monk Cratol echoed from the gates accepting who could only be Cyanwrath's challenge.
Sar'ai felt as if her stomach dropped, but she had to keep her calm and wait for the perfect time. For at the moment she was surrounded by the growling war-chants of dozens of kobolds. Her expression though remained stoic as she was getting her ques from the humans in the large force, each appearing to be a leader of smaller groups of kobolds to give the little dragon-kin some structure to their ranks.
Out of Character: so, unless it would have been impossible to so, in which case just assume Sar'ai is up at one of the towers, she cast disguise self to make herself appear like one of the humans in the attacking force and has taken up a spot on the outside of the wall amidst the enemy. The way I figured this could work is that when Elanna returned, she gave a description of the individuals she encountered and come the early morning, Elanna was keeping a watch and saw the force coming in time for Sar'ai to sneak out and just kind of blend in as the thick fog obscured some vision from the kobolds, and if she looked like one of the humans who they were used to seeing, then they probably wouldn't think to question her.
Her plan is to catch a lot of the kobolds by surprise when they are given the orders to attack and then one of "Them" immediately starts attacking them from within their ranks, hopefully causing enough confusion to impede their progress slightly. Now, Sar'ai is not suicidal and believes she can cause enough disruption and then get out before dying. I guess we'll see how well that works out.
Again, if this would have been not something Sar'ai could have done in time, that's fine.

Round One
Cyanwrath seems completely unfazed by Geoffroy's statements and warning shot. The half dragon then looks at Cratol, "You? You would challenge me? Very well, let us get this farce over with. The rest of you, stay out of this."
As the commander appears to be settling in for what he thinks is a duel, Lia and Cahleth fire their bows at one of the storm lizards. Lia misses, but the ranger manages to put an arrow in the target as well as a nearby human. Arrows from several other bows streak out towards the target, some connecting, others not
Poljen dances around Cyanwrath to strike at the storm lizard as well, his sword biting deep as he becomes visible to all.
Targul rushes out of the gate to engage the commander beside the monk. They get in several strikes, but the commander stands firm.
He roars at the pair and swings his bardiche, the edge glowing darkly. There is a thunderous boom as it connects with Cratol, and the monk is flung backwards towards the gate. His second strike batters at Targul's defenses. The commander then moves off to the side, taking a light hit from Targul in the process, and shouts something in Draconic as he points at the gate.
Onwen sends a ghostly hand out, but it fails to connect with a target.
Several of Onthar's men were apparently waiting for an opening, as both Cratol and Targul are grabbed and dragged back within the gate. It slams shut and is barred as townsfolk start piling things behind it. Several arrows and magical bolts fire out of the gate for the brief time it is open, mostly striking targets within the main horde.
As the army begins to recover from its surprise, arrows start streaking towards the people on the towers. One man screams and falls outside of the wall. Lia is struck in the shoulder.
At the commander's instruction, the storm lizards charge. Poljen is heavily battered as they rush by, but manages to avoid being actually trampled. The beasts run straight at the gate, heads lowered. The doors crack and splinter under the twin impacts, and the two lizards start turning away, probably for another run. Two archers hit the barbarian while he's staggering about, several others miss him.
The Order's bard, perched up on a ladder near Lia and Cahleth, casts something, and a semicircular wall of flames erupts in between the army and Poljen, Cyanwrath, and the lizards. The people who had been about to collapse on the barbarian recoil back. Poljen is quite close to said wall, but can feel no heat. Someone throws a rope over the wall and starts shouting for the man to grab on, but in all the noise, Poljen can't hear him.
Sar'ai managed to slip into the enemy ranks without much issue. It is difficult for her to tell just what is going on up there, but she can hear screaming, and see flames. The army doesn't seem to be wearing any kind of consistent uniform or identifying symbols, but all of the non kobolds bear a simple strip of blue cloth tied around the left arm. Her disguise was quite simple to pull off as a result.
[Cratol took a nasty hit from the Thunderous Smite, 19 damage. Targul got away with 9. Poljen took several hits for a total of 23, but it was all nonmagical, so he only ends up taking 11. Lia was struck for 5 damage. If either Cratol or Targul would like to resist being grabbed and force the others to retreat without them, make two acrobatics or athletics checks (Your choice) to avoid the grab and then avoid being trampled. Either way, Cratol is prone at the start of his turn.]
Lia's jaw drops as she sees Poljen appear suddenly attacking the stormlizard. She curses under her breath. " That stubborn fool. He better hope they kill him. " The worry evident on her face belies this. Noticing Cratol down below where she is she calls out " Stay there. I'll help you in just a moment. " Lia cries out in surprise pain and sees an arrow lodged in her shoulder. She calls out loudly. " Kill the lizard before the gate is gone. " She grits her teeth and fires another arrow at the same lizard she shot at earlier.
Out of Character: : She is staying with the same action previously rolled.
Poljen ignores the various attacks against him and focuses on his objective. With the other forces walled off by fire from him, the lizards and the half-dragon, he is tempted to turn to Cyanwrath. After all, he commanded the beasts, at least as far as the tall barbarian could tell in his maddened state. But he is aware enough that the one creature looks significantly injured, and he decides that is his best bet. Unleashing his piercing battle cry, he moves up to once more attack the lizard. "Hya! Cahleth, kill the beast!" he cries as he attacks. He knows the half-dragon will move to attack him, but he puts his faith in himself, and the Spirit of the Eagle that inhabits him…
Cahleth draws another arrow and pulls back his bow string just as he hears Poljen cry out. Firing at the injured storm lizard, Cahleth casts Hail of Thorns (Bonus action) as the projectile flies through the air. "Forgive me Pol, I hope this works," whispers Cahleth.
He then quickly unleashes another arrow at a nearby enemy (Horde Breaker ability).
Spell notes:
Hail of Thorns: The next time you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack before the spell ends, this spell creates a rain of thorns that sprouts from your ranged weapon or ammunition. In addition to the normal effect of the attack, the target of the attack and each creature within 5 feet of it must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 1d10 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
