With a sense of determination, Zarra will offer to the others, 'if we're going to be attacking right away, I'm going to cast invisibility on myself now. If we can find and engage the prince, I will attack while he's distracted. If needs be, I will use misty step to get closer to him faster. That way we can take him down as quickly as possible.' The drow hoped her companions would be approving of her plan. Yes, it would mean possibly burning two of her spells simply to get in one assured sneak attack, or at least hopefully so unless the dragoness was able to warn her lover and disrupt this… yet she felt it was still worth the try.

The group proceeds past the glowering trolls and up into the main chamber. It would seem that in this at least, Chuth proves to be as good as her word, no other threats assail you on your way in.
The area is now dominated by a huge scaffold, hastily constructed, but braced by the rock where it counts. Thirty one elven children stand waiting for you, bound and gagged, with nooses around their necks. They appear to be unharmed for the most part, but there is too little slack in the ropes above them for them to break any necks. If they fall, it will be a slow and incredibly painful death.
Forewarned about the magical symbols, they're more easily spotted, two complicated runic circles on the wall near the entry, where they could not be seen before coming in.
The clay golem stands waiting for you, but there is no sign of either Chuth or Neronvain at present, even to Lawrance's enhanced vision.
Chuth's voice is then heard, though it seems to come from everywhere at once, she seems to purr a bit as you walk into the chamber, "See? The children are here, and unharmed, though that can change at any moment. Give the mask to the golem, and you will be allowed to walk out with the young ones unmolested. It is that simple."
Out of Character: Arcana check to ID the two circles. I request that people go ahead and roll initiative. Without the mask, there's no way of getting of getting out of this without a fight even if so inclined.
Battlemap has been updated for this scenario: Source 6j.

Perry helps Lawrance inspect the strange arcane runes. Mainly he's just standing there looking confused while Lawrance bounces ideas off him.
Specific Action: Help for Lawrance's Arcana check.
EDIT: Adding my initiative with advantage because of my shield.

Velon uses the mental link to agree with Poljen, Lawrance, and Zarra. He then asks "Can anyone see her or the Prince? If so hopefully you have a spell to help us all see." Through the link.
Out of Character: . Incoming Initiative roll. Good luck all! Faerie fire or something to enable us to see them?
Mari looks to the others before they enter the chamber." Can someone possibly cast imvisibility on me as well?
I specialize in dispatching people very quickly when I can surprise them. Zarra and I can hopefully take the prince out together. If the group can keep them talking until we can strike him.."
Lia looks in horror upon the scene in front of her. It is a scene from.her worst nightmare. She looks stricken. The young cleric begins fervently praying to Sune. She remains where she is blocking the lair entrance. Lia prepares to activate the cube at the first sign of hostilities.
Out of Character: : Sorry, I was a little late on asking for invisibility. Daishain, is it okay to have it cast before they enter the lair if anyone is willing and able to do so?
Perry will place his hand on Mari's shoulder before they enter the chamber and place the other on his mandolin. He whispers to the young rogue, "May your hands be steady, your aim true, and your feet silent."
With that, she turns invisible.
Specific Action: Casting Invisibility from the mandolin's spells.
Tazskan, listens intently to Chuth's voice and tries to ascertain, if there is any deceptive tone, pitch in her voice.
He look's around carefully, at the surroundings he finds himself in. Including the scaffolding.
Specific Action: Will roll for initiative, and his insight.
Out of Character: Dai how high is this cavern, or room at its highest point? How high is the scaffolding?
Looking carefully around with all manner of methods, Lawrance attempts to judge differences in the chamber which may provide a place where the two miscreants are hidden. Possibly illusionairy walls, hidden cavern within the cavern, floor, ceiling and up behind the entrance opening come to mind as he attempts to penetration their concealment. Analyzing the runic circles as well, he sees if he can discern their operation.
Specific Action: Arcana for the circles, with Advantage, as well as Initiative. Trying to see past the illusions that hide the two, and pass on anything I see or figure out through the mind link.
