Chuth keeps running, magical bolts and arrows pelting her from behind. An enormous rock from Mari's enlarged hands ends the chase, slamming into her left rear leg, snapping it at the joint. The dragoness tries to take a few more steps, realizes it is futile, and turns back, preparing to breathe at the party once more.
But Poljen catches up and slams his weapon into the side of her chest, finally breaking through the weakened scales there.
Wheezing, she falters, and collapses. For the first time, there is fear in her eyes, as she looks up at the barbarian. She tries to plead with him, "Please, I'll be your slave, bear your child, anything, just let me live! You don't understand, Tiamat is always watching my kind, we have to obey her edicts. What I have done was not my choice!"

Velon watches Chuth go down from afar and sees that Poljen, Mape and the rest have her at their mercy. He has little interest in her last words or anything of the sort since little of this is personal to him. Instead he exclaims "The elves!" and turns and begins to dash back to the scaffolding to continue helping in any way he can and also recover his hand axe and any other items left behind. Along the way he eyes Neronvain to ensure the Prince is down and out for sure.
Out of Character: . Curious if there is a treasure horde here at all. I don't recall any mention of it during the initial scouting by the arcane eye or the stealth team.
Tazskan, breathes a sigh of relief as he sees that Chuth goes down, inside the passage.
"Another defeat for Tiamat, another victory for Bahamut, and the blaze," He says.
"Tiamat's child, wont be bothering these elves anymore," he adds.
"The elves," He continues.
Tazskan, looks behind and realizes there must still be trapped elves there in the scaffolding.
He rushes back over, to see if any are still trapped, and or alive. Checking for life signs, and cutting them loose where required with his dagger.
Zarra will walk up to Chuth, hearing her cry for mercy and bid for sympathy, with the drow says, "You claim you had no choice, yet wasn't it your choice to have the children kidnapped, use them in your twisted psychological tactics? You are as evil as they come, may your soul rot in darkness elg'caress." If no one else is willing, she will move in for the kill and slit the dragoness' throat.
Specific Action: Coup de grâce unless someone stops her, and if someone else is has ready finished her off I can edit my post.

Poljen stands in front of the pleading dragon, eyes narrowing as she begs for mercy. "If you were worthy of mercy, when your goddess 'ordered' you to hang children as bait, to lay waste to entire villages, to convince that low-life prince to betray his own kind… we ALL have a choice. If you deserved mercy you would have refused to do those things. Yes, she would have made you suffer. But to be honest, I don't believe this story of woe. I think you did it all willingly, gladly, even enthusiastically. So go! Tell your mistress that Poljen, son of Nels, sends one more of her foul brood back to her. And I intend to send her more!" With that he delivers the final blow to kill the beast. For good measure he hacks a few extra times, so he can collect the scales he will need for his necklace. He gathers a few, then spits on her corpse and turns back to the others. "Come. Let us see if there is any more good we can do to help. And we should alert Poppo. He might want to harvest some of this bitch's parts for something or other. Maybe Zarra and Mari could use green dragon poison… "
As the dragon draws her last breath, Perry feels a strange sensation come over him as some of his minor wounds stitch together by threads of dark energy. His eyes go black as he hears a voice call to him in his mind, "Well done, my pet."
He quickly snaps back to reality and looks around frantically. Then, he flies over to Mape and gives her a big hug from behind, "Well done! That was fantastic. You were fantastic!" Perry lands, and then drops the spell on Mari as she reverts back to her normal form. Perry grins at the young rogue, "Sorry for springing that on you at the last second there my dear, but you were absolutely perfect! Still, are you alright?"
---
Perry helps out with the elf children situation as needed. During that, he stops for a moment and turns to Velon with a look of disbelief, "Did I just help kill a dragon? A. REAL. DRAGON." The bard seems surprised for a moment, as if his mind had just caught up with reality, but he smiles and quickly gets over it. "Well you know what that means, sir! We need to find this treasure pile. I have it on good authority that all dragons have treasure piles. Also we should harvest some dragon parts. You can make tons of useful stuff out of dragon like dragon's eye stew, dragon jerky, dragon leather, dragon mignon, dragon pastry.... "
---
"Oh, and I almost forgot!" Perry exclaims as he walks over to Neronvain's corpse, "Stupid copycat with your singing sword and spells." He searches the body for anything of interest and inspects his sword for a moment. "Hey Lawrance, can you tell if anything on this guy is magical? I think Wizards usually have magical things. We should take everything we can here."
---
Lastly, Perry yells, "OY! If there are any more cute kobolds left in this cave, you are no longer a slave to this dragon. She is dead and you are free! Just don't do bad things anymore. Also, let us know if you are looking for work and we may consider your application!"
He turns and smiles to others, "We did it you guys."
Specific Action: Get creeped on by warlock patron, hug Mape, save elf kids, inspect Neronvain for items and provide the Help action for Lawrance with any and all Arcana checks related to looting, search for dragon hoard, and tell any stray kobolds to be free and/or consider working for us for minimum wage plus partial benefits.

"I to have heard of many items you can make from that of a dragon. There is dragonfang weapons, made from its teeth and claws, which I may want a couple of.You can make armour from her scales, or even a cloak or shield. Among other items," Zarra will say with consideration, wiping her blade of Chuth's blood as they finish things up. She was grimly amused that Poljen had joined in the killing of the dragon, if finishing her off.
Out of Character: If I could, I would like to gather the tooth or claw needed to have made a pair of daggers and a blade. Perhaps also a cloak as well. I'll see if I can find the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 resource which goes over dragon related items if I may. They would definitely be an upgrade, and great souvenirs.

Velon looks at Perry and downplays the accomplishment, speaking more as if it was a letdown than anything else. "Yeah, you did, a real dragon, although kind of a small one as compared to our previous victories. She was kind of tough, I suppose." He winks over Perry's shoulder at Poljen and/or Lia.
He gives Perry a moment to react before changing his tune once more. "Ha! Just messing with you Perry!" He gives Perry one of his trademark overly enthusiastic, which is to say slightly too hard, slaps on the back. "You were brilliant, Perry! Well done! Well done everyone! Now let's help the elves as best we can and explore this place for valuables or clues as to how we may hurt these cults further. Drinks are on me back on the castle once our work here is done!"
Velon adds "We should probably let our friends on the castle know that our enemies here are slain." "They are waiting just outside with ballista ready. I'd say they could come in and help harvest and move the valuable parts of this dragon, but the waterway is still a challenge. Whoever is the first to swim out be wary of flying bolts!"
