"Greetings, I also humbly request to have an audience with king Melendrach, I'm Tazskan at your service," He says.
Tazskan, likewise, removes his mace, and two daggers and hands them to the kings guards. As a gesture of non-hostility.
Poljen is clad only in his Boots of Elvenkind, brown wool trousers and belt, and a loose shirt with a leather vest. He carries no weapons or other items. "I am Poljen, son of Nels. Last of the Snow Leopards. If your king wishes to know about the defeat of the evil that has been plaguing his lands, we will tell the tale. If not, we will leave, along with all the knowledge we have gained."
"Oh Mari, you wound me dear!" Penelope cries overly dramatically. She continues, "I'll have you know that I'm quite well-behaved around nobles and others of high society."
Then, Penelope flashes her family's signet ring that displays the Pennington family crest, "I'm a noble myself, remember? I would never be so rude as to crack jokes about the King's late son or his evil green grandegg. So have some faith my dear! And cheer up! You have great skin and it'd be a waste if you ruined it with stress."
With that, Penelope changes her outfit to clothing befitting a noble. It's basically a woman's version of Perry's normal garb. It's a sleeveless silken purple dress and some gold jewelry, a bracelet and a necklace. Rather than her usual raven black ponytail, she has her hair down and flowing.
Out of Character: Yeah Perry is a Noble via his background which gets him the feature, Position of Privilege. Basically it means he can easily secure an audience with a noble and knows a lot about high society etc. Also people of high status see him as one of them since he walks, talks, and acts like them.
Mari just looks at Penelope with cold green eyes and shakes her head." I will be there in just a moment. First, my weapons." She pulls daggers from everywhere. Mari leaves 4 daggers, 2 short swords and a short bow outside with the guards. She looks to the guard." I am Mari Chandler, of the house Chandler."
Lia watches everyone curiously as they prepare to enter the king's presence. She will leave her bow, dagger and short sword behind as well "Well, I guess we are all here. Some are used to speaking to royalty. Some others are not… "She looks over at Poljen and winks.

Poljen registers Lia's remark and shrugs in response. He says, "This king will receive the same courtesy I would give anyone I have not met. Once I see his treatment of us, I will then respond uh-cord-ing-lee. If he treats us with courtesy and respect, I shall return it. If not… "He shrugs once more.
Lia frowns and shakes her head." Like I said… You know he could have us all killed or imprisoned right? You had better hope I don't survive whatever happens if you cause us to be harmed. "
She walks over to Velon and speaks softly." I will ask Sune to aid you before you speak with the king. She has been answering more of our prayers than Bahamat has recently. You must have angered him in some way." She grins and laughs softly.
Velon turns at Poljen's words and looks fully annoyed. "If not, what? You will teach him a lesson with your muscles? You will threaten or insult him? Or you will simply say nothing at all and let Lia or someone handle it? Perhaps you need to stay here if the answer is anything but the last, as you will put all of us and our mission in danger."
The paladin turns back to face the entrance door. "I do hope you can join us, and even be the one to tell the tale of how WE killed the dragon, if you wish, but please do us the favor of not adding to the danger here."
"Oh, oh hold on, just one last thing before we enter here," Penelope requests, speaking directly to Velon. She eyes him up and down and snaps her fingers. Dark purple energy swirls around the paladin for a few moments, "There, that's better! Look at you!"
She pulls out a steel mirror and shows Velon his new look. Everyone will notice that Velon is completely clean now. His beard and hair are well groomed and he looks much more handsome and presentable. "Now you look like you're ready to speak in the audience of a king," she says with a proud smile.
Specific Action: Liberal use of Prestidigitation on Velon to clean him up. Get that deep clean in.
