Out of Character: Ok, so what are we going to do here? Have a bunch of infighting about Cratol now? I think it's only fair that if I have to 'suspend disbelief' and go against what my character would do for the sake of KN, Daishain, and the campaign, maybe we just all should? I shouldn't be the only one, perhaps along with Ky, who is forced to do things with my character that I wouldn't normally do for the sake of KN and the Dungeon Master. If I have to forfeit my player agency for other people's out of game reasons, I certainly shouldn't be the only one.
The reason I have Velon just sigh and basically say "Bah, whatever, he's just a kid" and then treat him ok is because we can't accept him back and then treat him like dirt for a few more months. We're already making a big leap here in pretending the characters would allow him back at all so can we just have that leap include not all being mad at each other about it and treat Cratol fairly well going forward?
To be honest I'll be pretty pissed if I have to now dig my character out of a hole with the group over this because this isn't something I wanted to do with my character in the first place.
PS. Unfortunately if you weren't here in the first 20 minutes you didn't get to read Velon's 4th wall shattering mental breakdown over this. Didn't really intend to leave it permanently. .

Meanwhile, back on board the sky castle, Tazskan appears a little moody, heads out to the castles battlements. He takes in the view, breathing in the fresh, cold crisp air.
He goes in to inspect the ballista's that adorn the castle, in strategic places. Marveling their craftsmanship, he imagines their destructive power.
"I hope, I will be able to see your real purpose, other than being an ornament," He says, peering down the shaft.
He, casually walks around noting if there are any guards about, or Callahan himself. If any are still sleeping, wont hesitate to yell at them to wake up.
Lawrance examines the injured youth with a critical eye, using various implements and magical tests, Identifies and arcane resources to help. Trying a few different techniques, he declares "The magic in these fragments is pervasive, for sure. I'm thinking that an application of Dispel Magic and the use of a delicate Mage Hand spell may prove effectatious in their removal. I'd like to do this in the lab, as we have many protections already in place there. Lia, when we are ready to begin, please have your own healing ready for the wounds as they become clear. We'll have to do one at a time. "
Back at the castle, Perry can be found in the main hall. He drapes thick fabrics over any of the windows and flies to reach the ones higher up. Eventually, it's quite dark in the hall. He lights a few candles with prestidigitated green flame to provide a bit of dim light. The ambiance is a little spooky.
The tiefling appears to be wearing a dark shroud. He is sitting at a table, dimly lit by the wickers of green flame. Beside him, he has a stack of what appear to be black playing cards. The cloaked tiefling shuffles the cards, then places five of them face down on the table in a cross formation.
He appears to be thinking intently.
Cratol feel the hand come down on his back from Velon. It knocks him forward a bit but he knows it was not out anger and is glad that Velon will treat him as one of them again. He knows that he has a long ways to go to be truly back in with the Silver blaze for what he did. Smiling at Velons jests he does blush about Sylmae.
"Well truth be told we have not do a lot just went for a nice walk and talked a lot. I do hope to give her a much happier life especially if Lawrence and Lia can heal Gaelin. I have seen how Lia looks to you and I hope to see that look in Sylmae's eyes when she looks at me."
Having prepared accordingly, Perry gets up to grab some supplies. He comes back to his table and sets up a sign nearby that says, "Free Fortune Readings: Only the brave should approach." He waits for an individual to approach as he gets back underneath his dark shroud, his face dimly lit by the green candle light, and shuffles the black deck of cards.
Since so many seemed to hear Velon's whisper to Cratol and Taz, Velon hushes up and waits until he is completely alone with Cratol to reply. He looks around and does not see another soul for at least 100ft in all directions and then remarks "Well, let me give you some advice on such things." "I have no IDEA why Lia picked this big scruffy oaf from nowhere of importance, but I count my lucky stars daily for it!" He chuckles a little. "On that note, my advice is to ask Lia about such matters, if you need it, perhaps once she gets to know Sylmae a bit. Some ladies like different things and different types of men, ah, I think, right? I don't know, but Lia does. We can talk about it too, just don't listen to me TOO much! Ha! Oh, and do NOT follow Fay's lead in pursuing Mari. That made even me uncomfortable!" He chuckles again. "You are no Fay, but that may be a good thing. You have other qualities for Sylmae to get to know and appreciate, instead, and there's probably no rush."
Later, Perry can hear a racket coming down the hall and it is soon revealed to simply be Velon walking past the great hall in his full plate, headed for the control room to check in with Poppo. He is lost in thought and walks right by the great hall. The racket suddenly stops however, and a few lighter clanks can be heard more slowly as the paladin takes a few steps backwards and peers into the great hall. He draws his hammer and slowly begins entering the hall, looking up at all of the fabric hung high on the windows, illuminated only by green candle light. "Ah, HELLO? WHAT MANNER OF DEVILRY IS THIS?!" He casts Bless on himself and takes a few more steps forward, still looking up high and all around in the corners and other shadowy areas.
