Tazskan, having seen Velon use a sending stone to relay the message. Quickly, contacts the pseudodragon to then target the rest of the cultist mages near the maze.
Then, prepares for the counterattack by hiding behind the shrubbery, waiting to ambush.
Relying on his camouflaged glam leather, to blend in.
Once the bombardment has started Cratol will stay with the others to see what we want to do next. Knowing that this is going to cause a situation with the army that is in place he will mentally prepare himself to be ready for anything.
Velon watches the castle's attack on the camp with awe. "Well, you don't see that every day." He looks to the skies around the castle for evidence of spells being cast against it, a dragon attack, or anything of the sort, and is privately relieved to see nothing of the sort thus far.
"Bring the platform close so we may keep it safe, and it us in return."
As the fleeing enemies approach, Velon addresses the group. "Well, we have already spent some of our magic today, and I know many of you would not want to pass up the chance to take a bite out of this army. What do you say we take out as many as we can, then return to the castle for a rest? Early in the morning we can try entering the maze once our magic is restored."
Out of Character:
Doesn't the Dungeon Master normally tell us when to roll initiative? Kind of taking away our ability to RP anything or cast buff spells if everyone starts rolling without the Dungeon Master saying it's time. Always so eager to just roll those same ol' attack dice…
Also just need to test:
"Well, well, well, if it isn't… "

Perry watches the series of incredible events unfold. He watches as Mari brutally murders Leiutenant Officer Dan. He watches as rocks fall and nearly dozens die. He listens as Tazskan delivers almost half of Velon's messages to the castle in the sky. He waits as Lawrance spends 22 minutes carefully and ritually casting spells during this time sensitive mission. And finally, he watches as Poljen prepares to stealthfully strike the three dozen soldiers imminently approaching the party's position.
Once the bard has absorbed all of the information, he contemplates Velon's question about striking now, while the pastry is still hot. Perry deeply and carefully calculates how many of these elite soldiers he himself could defeat in one night before bravely retreating back to the castle to take an elongated nap. He thinks about how they'll never know what hit them the next morning after he's fully rested for over eight hours and then surprise attacks them again in the same geographical location. These are the supreme tactics of the Silver Blaze, he thinks to himself.
Finally, after intense internal consideration, Perry boldly proclaims, "This is truly the greatest plan I have ever witnessed or been a part of! Yes, Velon, you have my mandolin!"
Mari unsheathes her blades and looks at the advancing individuals. She speaks via the link," Velon, maybe we should try to enter the maze now. The army might regroup overnight. It's a great time with the chaos to enter the maze. That's just my thoughts. Whatever you think Velon. "
Lia still looks troubled at Mari." We don't murder prisoners. It makes us no better than them. We should take these up in the skycastle. I'm ready when you are Velon. You know you can always count on me." She draws an arrow back and eyes the approaching band." Just say the word."
Watching the falling munitions with detached and professional interest, Lawrance calculates the amount of force roughly delivered by each impact for a few of them, before he focuses on the impact zones and sees the ravaged bodies. Eyes wide with realization of the devastation the castle's attack has caused, he mentally whispers *Too much. All those lives! Worse than mighty spells of legend. Far too much!* It's only when he hears the plans being made that he comes back from his entrancement. * I think heading into the maze would be a good thing, right about now. At least we will be coming across small groups at a time there, easier to deal with, and maybe the gnome will understand our efforts. Also, can we stop the bombardment now?*
Regarding the group coming in * These few, scattered remnants should just be allowed to flow past. They aren't looking for battle, and if we keep out of sight, they'd just flee as far as possible.*.
