Perry has trouble focusing on the gems. His tail still hurts a lot and he's been burned by gross acid spit too. He takes a brief moment to pull out his mandolin and strums a soft note. His hands light up with soft gold and green fey lights.
He massages his tail with the healing energy and feels a wave of relief come over him. "Ah, this feels a lot better," he purrs.
After overhearing the latest revelation from Poljen, Perry says, "I can try removing them with someone's help to steady the plinth."
Specific Action: Cure Wounds at 3rd level from the Canaith Mandolin spell list. Adding 4 to the sum of these rolls for the heal. Sleight of Hand with advantage in case someone helps Perry out.
Out of Character: Unknown to most, Perry is actually proficient in Sleight of Hand. Before he met this band of do-gooders, he swindled people a lot.
"Let's review a bit for a second. I think we can rule out the fact that each color is tied to a certain number of circles and can confirm that the order does matter. My reasoning is that when we first took the Yellow path, we were led back to the first circle. BUT, when we take the Yellow path after having first taken the Red and Green paths, we get taken to the four circle fountain. If the turquoise path is a ruse, then the only other way that we can see is the fountain with Citizen Spits. One could think that the water fountain comes after the Yellow path because water equals blue which equals sapphire OR perhaps we even need to drop the sapphire into the fountain before entering it. I'm unclear on this last bit, but maybe the fountain is the key to the answer."
Perry looks pretty worried as he suggests this, as he isn't a fan of the snake creature.

"Maybe we should think like a gnome. Overly complex, yet essentially basic, and easy to reach. Something he'd be able to overcome without effort, if he uses this method to get into his tower regularly." Lawrance adjusts his stance, lowering his height to approximate gnome level, and looking at things from a new perspective.
Lia looks curiously at the fountain. She slings her bow on her back and puts her shieid between her and the fountain. Lia examines it closely. She whispers and asks Sune to help her find anything that could help them.
Mari notices what her friend is doing and gets closer. She will assist her in the thorough examination.
Out of Character: : Mari will assist Lia and provide advantage. Wisdom check rolled if applicable anymore.

Tazskan, can offer no more explanation than anyone else here. He forges on ahead with the others. Lending help in inspecting, the fountain/s, and colored gems.
Out of Character: I would hate to dissapoint Velon here, and not act like a parot.
Perry manages to pop the fake sapphire out into his hand with little trouble. There doesn't appear to be anything interesting about the bauble, and nothing is concealed in the hollow it came from.
Lia doesn't see anything about the fountain itself that could be handy, but when the creature pops out and tries to bite her, instead gnawing on the edge of her shield for a moment, she does notice that the water is undisturbed by the thing's motion.
Out of Character: Lia does get an AOO on the creature as it retreats if she chooses to take it.
