Cratol will go stand by the third circle to be ready to step into it when directed to do so. He looks over to Poljen and Velon and nods so they know he is ready.

Tazskan tries to hide a laugh at Perry's antics. For a few moments, seeing him morph into Velon. Then listening to the exchanges between, Lawrence, Perry and Velon.

He enters the large circle shaped area, and marvels at the 30 foot high metallic figure, with four arms.
He sees, some of the party position themselves, next to the three stone circles.

Tazskan, also positioning himself next the stone circle, that has a kaleidoscope of colors, appearance.

Velon calls out from over by his circle. "Yeah, I'd REALLY rather not fight it. As you all have said, there must be a way past this without a fight."

"What do you make of the phrase 'brought low' in this case, anyhow?"

"Maybe, the metallic creature will bow down, or kneel, when we stand on a particular circle,"? Tazskan says.

"To shift from standing, to prone, or bowing, as in prayer, or on your knees, certainly is lowering ones posture," He continues.

As Poljen steps onto the blue circle, the construct begins to move. Four blue orbs appear in the construct's hands, and a faint barrier of energy appears around it.

Out of Character: I am going to need initiative rolls and actions.

“(Expletive)! Maybe step off! Step off! Don’t attack yet!”

Velon casts Bless on himself, Poljen and Cratol. He prepares to step on his circle to check for any changes if Poljen stepping off doesn’t work. He’ll also try it if Poljen chooses not to step off.

(... And of course he’ll cast shield at any time in this situation if he thinks he’s about to get wrecked.).

Perry is standing far away from the statue. He sees the rest of the party standing by each circle, preparing to test the potential outcomes of stepping on them. He keeps an eye out for any potential hints or clues throughout the round while the others focus on standing on and off the various circles. He has his shield out, but both of his swords are currently sheathed.

Specific Action: Just some Perception and Intelligence checks to see if Perry can derive any hints for anything that happens during the round. If somehow attacked physically, Perry will use Shield as a reaction.

Eyes wide at this unexpected action on the traps part, Lawrance readies his defenses and studies the magical globes and field, trying to identify it's nature.
Specific Action: If he feels/learns that it could be dispelled, he will try a Counterspell on it.
