Mari engages with one of the fighters before her, drawing some blood with a strike. Lia does much the same, shooting her apparent counterpart. Poljen dashes around and up the back of the construct. The man he grabs manages to kick off the grip at first, but the barbarian's second attempt takes hold, and the cultist is dragged to the ground. One of the two remaining above turns to face Poljen, striking but missing with his blade. The other stabs down into the construct with a spear. There is a high pitched cry of pain, and suddenly the spell summoned tentacles surrounding the downed construct disappear, releasing the few people still held by them. One of the same attempts to drag Poljen back off of the construct in turn, but fails to do so.
Cratol and Morgaine attempt to down the warrior before them together, but the man survives Cratol's assault, and manages to catch Morgaine's on his shield.
Tazskan moves up on the offensive, but his poison unfortunately proves ineffective. He finds himself flanked between two fighters, one burly and tough, the other swift and deadly. While he is dealing with one, the other manages to sink a dagger deep into his back
Perry manages to slip a bolt of force through to impact on Cyanwrath, as Lawrance summons a ball of fire to burn several of the mages. A pair of burly men charge at the relatively exposed wizard, one of them making it far enough to cut him twice.
Once more, Velon teleports through the wall of steel blocking his path, and cuts down a spellcaster with a quick series of blows. Once again, lighting crashes down to scorch his body in response.
Meanwhile, a couple of spells go off, one summons an earth elemental in front of Lia. The huge thing swings a rocky fist at her, but it misses. Another summons grease underneath Velon. A swarm of insects surround Perry and Lawrence, stinging and biting them.
Cyanwrath calls up to Poljen, "It is good to see you, and you have grown stronger as I requested, good. I hope that you prove a challenge once more, but unlike last time, I cannot hold back." Raising his sword to the sky, dark energy begins to coalesce around it and his body. When it is done swirling, it is as if the blue half dragon has cloaked himself in the essence of a storm cloud, lightning and shadow playing across his body.
Out of Character: Lawrence takes two hits for a total of 30 damage, he and Perry need to make DC 16 Constitution saves, pass and take 10 damage, fail and take 19. The region covered by the cloud is also lightly obscured, and counts as difficult terrain. Tazskan took a sneak attack hit for 28 damage. Velon needs to make another save vs 21 lightning damage, as well as a Dexterity DC 15 to avoid slipping and falling on the grease. And the first level 20 character the party has fought gets to show off his capstone ability. If this was another kind of game, the boss room music would have just intensified. .
Poljen ignores Cyanwrath and focuses on the men atop the construct with him. He hopes the gnome(s) is able to fight back despite his/hers/its injury. He starts trying to clear the men from the construct, fearing that for the moment he is on his own. He has seen the powerful magics the rest of the Blaze have been dealing with, and understands they have to deal with the folks on the ground.
Out of Character: : Shoving more people off the construct. Shoving T6 first, so he can step there and shove T7. If first shove gets T6, second shove for T7.
Tazskan feels cold steel enter his back, and cry's out in pain. His cry of pain turns to laughter, as his right hand is suddenly transformed into a ghostly hand, wielding an apparition of a fist.
"Its a good time to die, today in the name of Da-ar dend-rien, I fight for the blaze, for honor, justice and glory," He shouts.
He steps back, Instinctively, attacking the opponent that stabbed him in the back. His arm swinging around, transforming into a skeletal apparition form.
Specific Action: Casting vampire touch on himself. He makes a melee spell attack, at the nearest foe. Since he is in melee, already and been knifed in the back. His targets are at R7 or R9. (Charisma modifier + prof mod)
If Tazskan successfully hits, one of his opponents. Then two things happen. (1) The opponent will take 5D6 damage. (2) Tazskan, will regain half of the damage dealt. Tazskan, makes a melee spell attack, and damage is with a 5th level slot.
Therefore, I will have to wait on successful hit before I can roll for hit points regained!
Out of Character: This is the last spell, and spell slot for Tazskan. Tazskan is currently sitting on 45 hit points after getting knifed in the back. A difficult choice, for spell use in the end.
.
"AHHHH BUGS! There are bugs everywhere!" Perry complains as he swats around at the various insects biting him. "Ow, ow, OWWWW," he yelps as he hops out of the swarm area.
As he leaves the infested zone, he witnesses Cyanwrath power up, "Everyone watch out!" Perry yells to the others, "He seems to have gone even further beyond! Unlimited power is coursing through him and wot!" The bard rolls up his sleeves and mutters an ancient curse in Infernal that roughly translates to something about how his name will keep the female half dragons away. Despite his silliness, the bard is being smart for now and carefully evaluating Cyanwrath's capabilities in this new form. Keeping an eye on Cyanwrath, Perry flies up and repositions himself before firing two purple, aerial force beams at the now doubly cursed Cyanwrath.
Specific Action: Bonus Action - Hexblade's Curse on Cyanwrath. Movement - fly up 10 feet out of the swarm of insects and repositioning to AF10 in case theres some sort of cone breath attack incoming. Perry is still hovering in the air there. Action - More Eldritch Blast.
Out of Character: I'm also rolling Perception checks to see if I can tell what exactly this wreath of lightning and shadow is doing for Cyanwrath. Does it looks like extra armor or what is it doing exactly? Regarding Hexblade's Curse, I now [Critical Hit] on either a 19 or 20 roll and can add proficiency to my EB damage.
Lia looks in alarm at the looming elemental. She cannot see anything but the creature for the moment. Lia quickly grasps her broom and climbs astride. She then rockets upwards and closer to her friends. The clerk slings her bow away as she surveys the battlefield.
Mari doesn't see too many friends nearby. Seeing Taz embattled she decides to help him. She darts quickly away from her opponent and over to help the dragonborn. Her blades flash again as she tries to down more of them. She eyes the mage nearby for a strike if they attempt to escape.
Specific Action: Lia uses up her bonus action by putting away her bow. She is unable to cast sacred flame since she is unable to grasp her amulet until next turn. Lia will fly up to a height sufficiently out of reach of the elemental. Mari uses her bonus action to disengage. She moves to R10 and attacks the warrior she is flanking with Taz. Rolling for Aoo if mage in S11 tries to move away from her.
Velon groans as the lightning hits him but is able to withstand some of the effects while thinking to himself 'they're determined to cook me in this armor one way or another'. He is then hit by the grease spell and, as he starts to slip and slide around in it, thinks of Lia's taunting with regard to his overall dexterity and is determined not to fall in it. Luckily the arcane enhancement of his speed and agility allows him to stay upright as he slides his way towards the nearby melee opponent and winds up for an uppercut with his hammer.
If he can kill his first target (V19) Velon will slide out of the grease and work his way around the flaming sphere trying to take out those casters (W16 and V15), too.
The paladin sees Lia facing down a newly summoned elemental along with whatever storm of energy Cyanwrath has created and starts to get nervous about the state of things here for the Blaze.
Out of Character: Not sure if one can flank with a flaming sphere *wink* Please just ignore advantage rolls as it seems unlikely to apply here.
AC = 26 w/Haste
GWM in action
*Dungeon Master discretion on Shield here as he seems less threatened by direct attack rolls at this moment. Wouldn't waste it for one melee attacker not named Cyanwrath, for instance, or one cantrip from a caster.

As people react to the situation, some help arrives onto the field. A construct much like winter charges out from a hiding place on the field, accompanied by a small army of tiny mechanical spiders. Presumably, this is Spring. He is wielding nothing more than an old shovel, but uses it surprisingly effectively as he beats one of the mages over the head and shoulders.
The doors to the main tower crash open, and a ballista bolt streaks out, impaling the man Poljen had flung off of the beetle construct to the ground. The doors close again swiftly, hauled shut by Winter and Summer, but not before Autumn rides out, perched upon a contraption that appears to be little more than a ballista with legs.
Out of Character: Mentioned spiders are essentially a pair of insect swarms. This post should have taken place at the end of my last one, I forgot that the event was scheduled for that round.

If the reinforcements take out any of the targets I listed for Velon on the map, he will move along the V/W columns taking out anyone along the way (Such as U10 and V8) with his enhanced speed on his way to Cyanwrath.
... Then again, I'm unclear on exactly what Cyanwrath is conjuring up right now, so some common sense can still apply at the Dungeon Master's discretion.
