Poljen says to Lia's query, "Several of us have voted for the name, Silver Blaze."
Out of Character: : Poljen basically thinks that necromancy is unnatural and if it were up to him the stuff would be burned, crushed, dropped into acid, whatever. But he also understands the group is always looking for intelligence, and many of the artifacts and written materials could reveal all sorts of useful information. He is more than willing to defer to those in the group he considers the leader(S), basically those who helped save his life. If they say, "Bring this to our bosses in the Harpers for them to study," and he will go along.
"Yes, many have found Silver Blaze to be a good name, though I am not so sure how well it rolls off the tongue as the name of an adventuring party," Geoffory says, considering before asking the question, "How would we or others address by such a name? We are the Silver Blaze, the Silver Blaze has come to help, have you heard of the Silver Blaze?"
The young cleric of light chuckles softly at the thought, but because others were showing such interest and agreement in it he adds, "I would be okay with such a name." Looking to Lia he does add, "Glad to see you return, I was worried that Targul's words had annoyed you too greatly."
Speaking softly so only she would hear, Geoffory adds, "I do not believe Targul meant any insult, and if it means anything I would be just fine if you were to become the leader of our little group Lia." He winks, offering a small bow of his head.
Out of Character: Geoffory would also feel that necromancy is among the darkest of all magic, though more simply because he's understand how it could corrupt or taint one's soul if misused and as well since it can bring about an unnatural unlife. He would want what the necromancer owned to be destroyed as well, but might find himself distracted with any lingering dangers to notice if another grabbed a few things.

Name: Kvard
Country:
Comments: I would love to get in on this, if there is still room. I have been searching for a Play By Post game, love the FR setting, and would love to play a Shield Dwarf Paladin of Dumathoin with the Inheritor background. He holds a map to the riches of Shanatar, particularly the Shield Dwarf kingdom of Ultoksamrin.
There is exactly one seat yet available Kvard, it waits for the first person to make a serious claim.
Register on these boards (A process which involves introducing yourself to the community at large so be ready for that), come back here, and give me a writeup. Make sure to check the first post of this thread and the rules thread linked therein, my approach has a couple of tweaks to the default rules.
Given the timing, you'd be coming in as a freelance agent of some variety rather than as part of the core group. That's not a disadvantage, you just don't share initial history with the others. Don't worry, at this stage there's an easy way to bring you in.

I have edited the first post of the Main thread. It now details the full beginning of the story, and I invite all active players to start making their own posts. Go Here
For the sake of brevity, I suggest that people describe the members of the Silver Blaze arriving as a group. And for the sake of actually proceeding with the story, I suggest that people accept the offer
People are free to keep fleshing out group history here, but I feel it is time to get the main event rolling.
Oh and, Happy New Years everyone.

Lia nods at Poljen thoughtfully. " Silver Blaze, hmm. I can go along with that if everyone else likes it." Hearing Geoffroy speaking quietly she looks in his direction. She smiles at him and answers quietly as well. " Thank you for your kind words my friend. I do not wish to be leader but thank you all the same. I know Targul didn't mean anything by it. I just lose patience sometimes with simple concepts needing to be explained. The Elven cleric raises her glass and takes another drink. " I feel much better now. " Lia grins at Geoffroy.

Looks like the choice of name is settled.
Aericsteele, and anyone else who wants to chime in, could still use your input on the matter of swiping stuff from this necromancer.
So far the general consensus seems to be that the group would turn the material over rather than destroy it off hand, but Lia at least would be suspicious if someone kept/copied stuff.
