Tell you what, have Fay roll attacks for the two ballistas, one of them with disadvantage (The one for which Fay isn't there to help with targeting.).

Unless they can garner some source of advantage to counter it, all archers other than Lia firing at the NW group will be doing so at disadvantage thanks to the range.

One question before I roll for Fay. If I have the Castellan target the other ballista do I still have to fire with disadvantage?

I was letting you negate the disadvantage thanks to particular skill with ranged weapons. (And that was a bit of a stretch) The Castellan and his people know what they're doing, but they can't claim the same.
