It would be extremely unlikely that the dragon would have chosen to serve any humanoid, not unless they displayed far more power than anything demonstrated by the commander, and even then they would be reluctant. Cyanwrath might serve the dragon, they might both serve another individual you have not met, or the two might simply have enough in the way of common purpose that the dragon was persuaded to assist. It might even be possible that the dragon is simply being paid a great deal for his assistance, and has no other interest in this affair, though amassing enough treasure to really get a dragon's attention is not a simple task.
But serve a humanoid much weaker than himself? Most of his kind would have a hard time debating between that fate and death.
I'm going to need a Diplomacy roll from Fay just to get its attention to the offered parlay. If the dragon is still being fired upon through the next few rounds, this will be made at disadvantage.
I should note in this regard that even if the party all stands down, there are multiple militia members still taking aim. A handful nearby simply seem unconvinced that talking is the best idea. More elsewhere simply did not hear Lia. Those not addressing the dragon would need to move fast to get them to stop.
I should also note that negotiating for time may or may not be in your favor, as the enemy undoubtedly has healers, which would negate most or all of the progress already made if the dragon is given a chance to recuperate.
Edit: edition mix-up, I meant Persuasion when I said diplomacy, and somehow missed that he'd already rolled persuasion along with that song of his.

So many things can go wrong with all of this. Blue dragons are arrogant and vain. I'm counting on that. He will want to tell us why he will kill us etc before doing so. I'm sure he likes to hear himself talk. I'm hoping he doesn't really care about Greenest and will leave.
Fay's song was marvelous. We should at least have a chance to parlay. Hopefully *smile*. Even if we just have a truce for the day it will help. Then none of us die. Time is on our side. Freeing the townsfolk that have been captured… I have no idea how to help them.

Out of Character: I think you all are nuts to want to parlay with a dragon but that is me. Now I guess we will see what happens. Lets hope he/she just does not straight up and attack due to being in a rage from being wounded.
It might be very risky. Fighting is not without great risk either. This is something I feel that Lia would try to do. She wouldn't surrender but anything that can buy us time would be considered. If she is utterly foolish in this she will probably pay with her life. Then everyone can fight like they wanted to.
I hope everyone up top sees what Fay and Lia are doing and does everything in the power to stop the militia archers from firing… that is pretty much the only way this works. I'd rather not get Fay's head bitten off so quickly… but Fay did make his bed and he's comfortable with his decision.
Once I am at work I will post some stuff for the main thread, but I was looking stuff over and realized that if that Dexterity roll (The one with the 1 I got for it) comes up, it is possible that he will have begun to Rage. If so, he wold make the roll at Advantage. If so, I will roll it then. In the meantime I will get around to a post where He tries to get the men near him to hold their fire… even though he thinks this is a fool's errand.
Yeah, there a fair chance Lia and fay die here. Like Daishain said, he can't stop us from charging into danger and I think we're doing that now. That said, I had to play the character I was given. It should be fun. The good thing is, you and the others have a bit of a respite and get to watch one heck of a show. This will be Fay's greatest performance, and possibly his…
