What is the group dug in at the base of the ramp comprised of? If a lot of kobolds and others maybe we can over run them with a surprise attack. How much of the debris from the dragon fell outside the stronghold?

Mostly humans and dragonborn, they don't look like pushovers.

Most of the tower debris fell into the courtyard along with the dragon. Some stonework fell outside the walls, but on the south and east sides.

The ramp is on the west side correct? What buildings are around the ramp area?

Main gate and the top of the ramp are on the north side of the fort. The ramp curves generally wnw from there. The base of it is among a fairly dense cluster of trade shops. The foe has made it even more problematic by building barricades of their own between those buildings.

So if we get lowered down on the south side and make our way unseen to the shops and get on the roofs of said shops we can fire arrows down on them from above and behind their barricades. Have another group come around behind them after the archers start firing to hit them hard then retreat. Does this sound doable people?

I should remind you of the positions of the main other groups, the looters who are spread out over the West area, and cyanwrath's group to the north. Retreat may be problematic if word of your position spreads.

I'm open to try this. I have another idea as well. How about we send stealthy infiltrators out there under the cover of darkness. They slit as many throats as they can before they are noticed. That would have to make them just a little uneasy. I think it's time to take the fight to them.

Yes I like the idea of hitting those dug in. From above and behind. We come from the south and then head back to the south afterwards. If we do this well that should clear those by the back door out some.
