Yep, that's it, classes tend to be a bit light on new abilities at L5, since there's a major mechanical boost in ability.
Edit: good god Poljen, the dice bot keeps favoring you with those HP rolls
Speaking of this stuff, Onwen, I believe you have an encrypted necromancer's spellbook that you can now try to glean a spell out of. Gimme an arcana check when you will, and roll an unmodified d10 while you're at it.
Edit: as to spell selection suggestions. My top picks for 5th level wizard regardless of campaign (Not in order) would be Counterspell, Sleet Storm, Fireball/LightningBolt/Melf's Meteors, Animate Dead, Leomund's Tiny Hut, Blink.
Haste used to be great, but now it is both single target and concentration. Pretty much the only case where I'd go for it now would be for self buffs as a Gish, or cases like Poljen's duel.
For this campaign, in spite of it being very appropriate for the character, Animate Dead is less useful in a party this large. Much the same goes for Blink, as its rare that you'll be targeted.
Counterspell would be good, as you often run across troublesome mages. Tiny Hut will give the party a little fortress to rest in even in the most hazardous of situations. Sleet Storm is nice, but you've got others picking up AOE crowd control. What the party greatly lacks at this point however is an evoker. Lightning Bolt is powerful, but it can be difficult to get enemies to line up for you. Fireball is iconic of course, but fire is commonly resisted, and it can't be used after the groups have closed in to melee. Melf's Minute Meteors is an alternate to fireball, slightly more damage potential if directed at a single target, and can much more easily be used after melee conflict begins, but can affect fewer people, and its effect is spread out over three rounds minimum.

Okay, Lia is leveled up. I took the average hitpoints for her. She now has revivify as mentioned and mass healing word which should help with healing quite a bit. Our party should be a lot stronger now. Those level 5 upgrades are nice.
.
I considered taking animate dead but being a necromancer Onwen gets that spell for free at 6th level and using it might out him as a necromancer or at least be frowned upon by the other members of the party.
I think I'm going to go with Lightening bolt (Get that Palpatine effect) and Counterspell to disrupt those pesky mages. I keep forgetting about the necromancer's grim harvest ability! I need to remember that. He is going to continue copying the Fog Cloud spell from the other spell book as well.
Onwen should be leveled up; hopefully I got everything right.
Did I miss something? I guess the player for Targul has withdrawn, but I have seen no evidence. Any further word to satisfy my curiosity?
And yes, I have been ludicrously lucky on my HP dice rolls here… I am sure it will eventually turn against me, but for now, all donations gratefully accepted.
Weird… I never got the email alert to check the character generation thread for the exchange about him leaving. It does present me with an idea, though it might be too late. In our first fight Targul acquired a sweet, enchanted two-handed sword. Now without a shield I think Poljen's AC is too low to try using it, but perhaps our new paladin/sorcerer with his big armor might like it. That is if Daishain will allow us to get it back before the half-orc splits town.
I think Targul would be inclined to keep it all told, and I believe Velon was set up for sword and board like Pol anyways.
In any case, the greatsword was a simple +1 enchantment, not that incredible.
