In any case, you guys have a decision to make, not to mention a chain of command problem
I should remind you that you were informed before that reinforcements from nearby cities are on the way. There should actually be a large force approaching along this road from the other direction. There is no way at the moment to tell how far off they are however.
I wasn't even away for a full day and there has been like twenty posts. Sighs, I will get on making a reply and get things going. Hopefully I didn't miss everyone getting started on the scouting.
Out of Character: Ah, I forgot that but Fay obviously remembered. With a force coming from the other direction we should be hitting them every chance we get to slow them down. I take it back, Fay was right. But he was probably a bit insubordinate.
Daishain, I would just like to say I am grateful and appreciative that you have allowed me so much freedom when making use of Goeffory's squire. Not only by having Elyria be his sister as well be used for the roleplaying aspect of the game, but allowing the squire to be a character unto her own with personality and motivations.
Other Dungeon Masters would take a stricter reading of the rules and refuse to allow such freedom. Saying that as more an NPC will a very minimal role, as a non-combatant, I wouldn't be able to play Elyria as I have. While playing in the Adventure League, it was all but a useless aspect of my character though there was also far less focus on roleplaying given the pace of scenarios.
Thank you.

Nope, I still think an attack would be the wrong move at this time. If the enemy is sure we are on their tail, they might make a stand, with blades head to the throats of the captives. We don't want to have to face the entire army, and a skirmish at this point when they are expecting trouble could easily bring a big response.
