So, Fay is 10 gold short for the chains he wants for himself and Lia. Since he isn't taking any magic items can get just a bit more gold? Otherwise, he wouldn't mind that luckstone unless someone else claimed it and he'll hold off on his dragon tooth chain and for now and just mount the tooth on a string until he can get it done properly.

Did you say they can attune to three magic items? Does the sword require attuning? I can't remember but I think so. Also, the stone is a lot like the ring Fay got. Do the bonuses stack? If not, he wouldn't take the stone.

Let me double check # of attuned items, but if gold is more valuable to Fay at this time Velon would gladly give him gold in exchange for being allowed to hold the luck stone. Either way though, he's not looking to be greedy. I'm surprised no one wants more of the items but initiative is nice (Velon has been terrible at it) and the luck stone is as well.

Cratol will also look to see if he can get his onyx figure appraised and to see if it is a magical item he may be able to use. Same with the beak from the worm like thing if it has some value to someone?

Now as far as a side quest due to his 5th gem? Maybe that is something he can be doing during the six month downtime to receive his inheritance. Plus the fourth gem I am sure is going to mess with him somehow too.

So that stone, Fay is interested in it. It is the only magic item he would really want and it would be great for him as a bard since he has quite a few abilities and that helps ability checks.
