With regard to Thomaslee's last comment, I more meant that the Dungeon Master is still waiting on us (And is probably at work at this point, too). I'm not sure that we have the requested roll from Jack yet.
If a specific marching order is needed, I believe it would be something like: Fay, Jack, Poljen, Cratol, Geoffroy, Poppo, Velon, Lia, Oswald, with Mari and Geoffroy's elusive squire in there somewhere.
Sorry for not having Geoffroy's sister say or do much, I will try to have Elyria involved more and start having her not simply be in the background in part so that those who wish to interact with her or even flirt can do so. Sighs, it has simply been that I have had a lot to focus on, with next month's rent worryingly coming up soon and finding another job until the one I just got hired for starts on the 14th.

I'm doing fine, just a couple of things occupying my attention. Not the least of which being my brother and his fiance being around for once. I get to see the latter only about once a year these days, life in the Navy and all that.
Glad to hear you're occupied with something like that Daiashain, versus simply work or anything bad. Enjoy the time! I'll surely be quiet during my next backpacking trip or vacation.
Now if only Velon could think of a clever way to avoid walking directly into the dwarves' trap!
I think Cinder's list of options has one minor error. The way the duergar went is in the general direction that a Beholder was reported. So since we don't have a clever way of getting rid of the tunnel fall directly in front of us, the shortest way is to go back to the tunnel where the duergar went. Maybe we run into them, maybe not. Maybe we run into a Beholder, maybe not. Maybe we run into something else, maybe not. At least from Silas's thoughts, and I certainly believe he has more knowledge about these things, we probably wouldn't run into both at the same time.
If we do run into the duergar, and they seem to fall back, as if leading us somewhere off our preferred route, we should break off. Now Poljen might not agree with that in the middle of a fight, but he can be talked out of rushing off pell-mell.
Aha, I did remember it incorrectly. Sorry. I've edited my post so as not to cause other readers confusion. So Geoffroy was saying to take the shorter route? Let's do it! (Clearly I do NOT want a TPK as I enjoy our current characters and group dynamic, but it would be cool to see/fight a beholder! I have yet to do that in a campaign.).
