I am really glad to hear that, I knew there was a bit of a risk, and I hadn't had a DMPC be that heavily involved before. Toss in the possibility of it being perceived as a "Marty Stue" situation, and I was rather nervous about it.
In any case, at present Thomas is several ingame hours behind you guys, so I'm giving him a chance to catch up, hence being a little slower on the updates. It'l pick up again shortly.
I think what helped, is how Silas helped keep everyone else alive and in how he played off the rest of our characters. Without him I fear it might have been a total party kill even if that wouldn't have been intended.
Also, thanks for letting me try and catch up with Zarra since she is behind. I am on my 30 lunch right now though I have only 15 minutes until HR needs to close.
+1 Handaxe of Returning.
A returning weapon flies through the air back to the creature that threw it. It returns to the thrower just before the creature’s next turn (And is therefore ready to use again in that turn).
Catching a returning weapon when it comes back is a free action. If the character can’t catch it, or if the character has moved since throwing it, the weapon drops to the ground in the square from which it was thrown.
