I will also ask our illustrious Dungeon Master to let us know if and when combat breaks out if our party hears it. I currently expect the answer to that is the main party will not hear it, unless the scouts run and shout. But since I am not 100% certain on distances between groups and such, I am officially requesting it.
I would assume the forcibly thing you mentioned would then count as an action that would end Jack's invisibility. If I were the Dungeon Master I would say so… especially the wrestling part. Of course, the initiative disparity would have meant Jack grabbed Fay after Fay already sang I fear. Good thing this is all made moot and nobody needs to die! Uhm, let me add yet in there *wink*.
-No, grabbing onto a friend and leading him to safety won't count as an attack. Not unless he's fighting you off.
-Just make a new post and I'll ignore the old one. P.S. Your time available to edit goes up to 24 hours on premium accounts if you are wondering about how Abn edited his.
-Unless they start making an ungodly racket, the main group will not hear the scouts. They might hear a response to the scouts however.
I was figuring something like that. If the half-dragon, or whatever it is, gets into it, I am sure things will be loud. But even then the main group might not hear it depending on distance. Heck we might even be outside by then.

Okay, just posted my edit. We came very close to something very dramatic happening, for a minute there…
I must admit I thought about having Jack kicking the elves' door open just for the heck of it - or basically to see if maybe they'd end up in an argument with the dragon beast, or maybe start complaining about drafty stairways… but thought better of it.
Better safe that singing - I mean, than sorry.
.
[That is very funny]! How about going up the stairs instead of down? Maybe we can find a way down to the floor by climbing down. It's a gamble but might be worth it now that the ugly hulk is moving to investigate.
