Presuming you have not missed an alternate route down, your fastest route to get down there appears to be to literally jump down into the courtyard and run for the platform. You can presume that both the stairs and the ladder nearby would lead to doors to the same area, but cannot be sure.
Heading back to the way you came up from the caves is also a possibility, but whatever route you choose, you are almost as far across the fort from it as you can get.
It should also be noted that Poljen has little idea of what is going on with Rezmir, much less her current location or route.

I have been told she is going down the stairs over by Fay, right? So I am assuming she is in the northeast of whatever level she is on. Probably by now down to the basement level. So the quickest route to the room at the end of the tracks, rather than where the platform is lowered is what I seek. It still might be fastest to hit the platform and drop it down. I just want to be sure before I post. Thanks, man!
EDIT: OH and har high up are we from the courtyard? Not that it matters much to Poljen… but the others might care.

What Poljen got was a garbled mess saying something about the stairs and Jack. Lia got the full message, but that didn't include details such as destination either.
You're also about 40 feet up. So not a vast drop, but not undaunting either.
Oh! I thought from the way you put it out that Lia had relayed it. Never mind then. But once he gets the message I now have the information. Thank you. For now, continue with things… but there is that nasty magic circle… hm… if he ran up along the wall, using the column marked "T," how close could he get to the north wall? I am now envisioning him jumping across the open gap onto the north wall, avoiding the nasty magic thingie… and if he falls, well, at least he will be closer to the platform down below, eh?
Let's see… he gets Advantage on Athletics rolls while Raging… Bless from Lia or Velon… yeah, I can totally see trying this! I just need to know if it is remotely feasible. I mean, if the magic ward is about T18 or so, no way. But if it is around T10 or T12 or so, I will totally go for it. Or maybe it is small enough he can try jumping totally over it…
I'm unsure if I can wait for after the roll to use inspiration to remove disadvantage. If not than I'd like to use it to remove disadvantage on this attack roll. If I can wait to see what the roll is first, than I guess I'll decide after.
At the moment I am assuming that my inspiration is spent and that the second roll is ignored. But it would be nice to pick afterwards *smile*.
Yeah, he's only a few paces away, he looks like he's prepping for a one on one swordfight with Fay.
Oswald, you can declare inspiration after your initial roll, but before the results of the roll are announced. So you need to judge whether you're confident in the first number.

I'm unsure how that applies here since I rolled them both together. Obviously if I have a choice still I'd like to save the inspiration. If not then I'm cool with it being spent.
[By The Way], my birthday wish today was to roll two 20's. Not exactly what I meant but I'll take it.
