By the time we get through with this we will need at least a short rest. Rezmir is very tough. We are in great danger of losing party members for good. Cratol and Velon can't be healed for s minute. Cratol has no hit points and Velon doesn't have much. We can't heal them above 0 which makes it easy for them to die due to instakill damage with this Wyrmspeaker.
On, never mind about Cratol. He is okay. Under 3.5 rules he would be dead. 5e makes it almost impossible for a character to be killed once they gain a few levels. I don't like that aspect of the edition. A lot of the feeling of risk isn't there. Poljen is in effect unkillable. I don't see anything doing 80 plus points damage to him when he is at 0. Then he has a plus 3 or 4 on his death saves *wink*.

Cratol's fine, well, relatively speaking. The acid blast wasn't enough to cause instant death, it just caused him to have one extra failed death save.
That would normally be worrisome, but then Lora's spell hit him right afterwards. So he's blissfully unconscious, and stable. If he doesn't take another hit, he'll stay that way.
Not that I'm promising not to hit him again, AOE effects are very good for Rezmir right now.
Honestly, the fact that my character has evasion has helped quite a bit and keeping her alive. I just hope that I make my roll so Zarra is not left at one hit point.
Yes didn't mean to take anyone's actions away, Velon just thought of the first person he could that was nimble and probably good and finding such things. I figure the mission is the mask, not just killing Rezmir, and fear Rezmir will have too many tricks once again to escape and take it with her. Daishain must know where the mask is located, giving us a chance to snag it somehow, even if unlikely due to magical concealment or something, despite Rezmir's plans. I've rolled poorly on Investigation and seem to have drawn the ire of our foe, so was hoping to simply inspire the other characters to keep their eyes open, perhaps with some investigation or perception rolls or whatever.
Oh, that reminds me, I forgot about this somehow, but Tazskan's use of Divine sense picked up something in this room other than the familiar. A strong deific presence, of an exceedingly dark variety. The feeling is quite similar to that of an altar or holy place where the honored god's influence can be felt to some degree, even by those not attuned to such things.
While standing well outside the room however, it didn't pinpoint where.

Its fine, and like I said it did technically work out since I had forgotten to make a second Attack roll. Chuckle, you didn't take her action if I willingly have Zarra hold off her second attack to look around.
