With the runner in play, we couldn’t spare a party member to take him down. Rezmir is still the central threat, and we can only hope she goes down this round. While Lawrance can’t do any major spells in the room with all the party there, a big open hallway is a killing field.

Wow, so Velon and Cratol are both down for a minute with reinforcements on the way. Fun times.
That's the way this group always handles things. We stop the runner to keep the fight manageable. Now two of our three best melee characters are down for a minute with who knows what on the way. It should be fun. A huge decision is coming up and our leader is unavailable. You are evil just like KN, Daishain *wink*.
Daishain, is there any possibility that Lora realizes that something is blocking her healing and to try spare the dying for example? I hate to keep blowing prized spell slots if it can be reasonably avoided.

Ouchie!
The party hears Velon's voice in their heads… "Run Luke, run!" (Don't run, only kidding!)
Yeah, the guard getting away is far more concerning for me than Velon going down. I still have faith in the party and Dungeon Master that there is a chance of some sort of victory over Rezmir and Velon and Cratol getting back up one way or another. Now the whole castle is likely to be alerted. Yikes! That mask had better be in the trunk, but even then as others have said, I hate to quit on the full dungeon. The recent argument that taking the castle hurts the cult greatly is a good one. We'll see!
Time to google if any mods get added to Death saves!
I totally forgot about inspiration and it’s use. I should use it sometime instead of leaving it rot *smile* that one minute no heal really is bothersome, too. Daishain, do we still need to post two rounds, since this battle is so fluid? If so, I’ll add another post, but I haven’t for a couple in this battle.
Just, a quick question Daishain. Is it possible for a player character to pray to their own diety, or otherworldly being, for intervention of any kind?
A roll on percentile 100 perhaps?
One round at a time is fine when things are like this.
Anron, calling for divine intervention is a tenth level cleric feature. I'm not inclined to give that away to others.
Okay, so aside from the pseudodragon, which has a low chance of even hitting the guy, no one is going to try and stop the runner alerting even more people?
