Amabalis has not lost contact, is not stuck to the cultist, and he is able to freely attempt to use the barb again. That was just a way to describe your familiar missing on the strike.

Cinder, if I'm reading the rules properlly, the hit points healed to your character is 4, (Level 3 paladin plus Charisma mod 1).
I know, doesn't sound like a lot.

But I felt it prudent to formally introduce my character, to group before getting to far in.
Before getting into more conflict that is!

Page 485 Support QampA Rules Dragons and Dungeons e Daishains

I'm almost positive that he can't be healed for a minute. He was hit with the sword just like Cratol. The description also sounded like the healing was blocked. Velon is stable at 0 hit points though. Take a break *wink*.

Anron, if you are talking about the lay on hands ability, you have 15 health points available per day, and can give as much or as little of that reserve as you wish at once.

The Quiet Shadow says...

Not sure if picking up the mask with a cloth, not touching it with her bare hands, will protect Zarra but it is worth the extra effort. Hopefully, she is able to get that put away in her pack and she can focus on helping the others to escape or in taking over the flying castle. That is, if such is even feasible at this point.
