Yes, there is a lot to like about the simplicity of the system. Though the lack of content is still frustrating, as too Wizards of the Coast aggressive refusal to allow the majority of their content in a more complete SRD or other such resource when compared to Pathfinder or even d20/Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 when it comes to online resources. Still, I will deal with it where must.

You have a good point Gknight. It's a touch balancing act. I think they are trying to make parties not as reliant on clerics or other sources of healing. They have yet to get this part down however. In 3.5 there were factories dedicated to wands of cure light wounds. I don't like either option myself.
That wasn't much of a problem KN. If you didn't play a Druid, cleric or a wizard in 3.5 you weren't doing it right. There was a huge gap in power between full casters and everyone else in 3.5.
