From Velon's perspective, he did express concern about taking out the giants with only three and suggested bringing any useful items back from the secret room, but he did not demand it in any way or offer a better solution than taking the giants out while they slept. He trusted Poljen to make the call (Assuming all would know Poljen is leader on such party dividing missions, or if Velon ever falls).

Not even trying to silence the ears of one sleeping giant while killing the other though, he'll have something to say about that.

I do agree with what's said about the familiars attacking a giant directly. Like sending a couple of mosquitos, in to be squashed.
Obviously, they are both better off at a respectable distance.

Well, Velon and Lawrance have a few more rounds of dashing to get to the fight… by then one or more of the team might be down for the count. But you never know. Sometimes the dice do funny things. At a minimum when they arrive, if all three are down with the giantess standing there, she will be severely weakened.

Yeah the timing is certainly interesting. Things are looking a bit better now, but since even Poljen has very low HP now it may not last until we get there barring some misses on both sides. Who knows, you may have already won before we get there, you may all be down, or the dice may somehow dictate that the fight still rages on. Lora is in a whole other world of hurt right now; hoping for some good saves there!

I can't realistically see it happening, but it would be so sweet if Velon burst through the door to find Poljen standing there, with just 1 or 2 HP left, victorious! The group would grow tired of his recounting of the battle!
