How are his hands tied? In front or behind back. Plus is his tied at the ankles only? Wrist tied together? If hastely done did they have time to get the fuse from Sar'ai pack or where ever she put it before they could set off firework? Or did he light it without the fuse thus the burnt/singed hands *smile*.

Your legs/feet are free, your hands are bound together behind your back, with another loop tied around a short and thick leg. Until the armoire is shifted or the bonds loosened, you cannot rise to more than a sitting or kneeling position. You're gagged with a simple wad of cloth held in place by another wrapped around and tied at the back of your head
Before you ask, yes, you could launch off a full series of kicks from your position on the guy threatening to torture you. Just remember that you're sitting at 1 HP, so I suggest making sure it counts.
And yes, it looks like he had to hold a flame directly to the base of the firework to light it, getting burned in the process. Pretty badly at that, most of the skin on his fingers and the back of his hand are quite red, its already starting to blister, and that hand is shaking. He seems to be ignoring the pain, but it is taking obvious effort to do so.
