Yes, but more efficiently, you could freefall before using the fly speed to slow yourself.

Good options, for sure. We'd just need to get you two to a window or anywhere else you could jump from. Still could be tough. Not sure how the characters feel about leaving their sun dial behind. Hopefully the party can stay a while, that's much more ideal/fun. If they are to teleport out soon, I hope we don't have to run all of this place to get the remaining two safely away. We'll see!

We've had a lot of Out of Character: discussion, but I look at an example like this just as clarity over things mentioned but not fully understood by all. I imagine the characters discussing such things in more detail during the breaks they have had recently.

Okay, it looks like we are just about set for this brouhaha. I am sorry to report that unless Daishain says a longer-than-short rest helps at all, aside from short rest benefits, Poljen has NO Rages left. That means his resistance to damage is gone and he does less damage. He can still do Reckless Attacks… but I may not do that since it will make it easier for him to be hit. I may even switch back to the sword and shield for the extra AC. And with 2 levels of exhaustion, his movement is halved, so he is not as fast as usual.

But thanks to Nikolaos, he is at full Hit Points. Thank you for that. I just hope the dice go my way in combat the way they have for most of this game.

Yeah Cratol is in the same boat being slower and at a disadvantage too. This makes two good fighters slowed down and Cratol is not even at full strength. That is why he is by the door and not towards the front. He is still wanting more rest.

That isn't good news Paul. His hit points are cut in half basically. That will make a huge difference. I really hope that no one dies during this. I'm concerned with our ignorance regarding troop strength. We have no idea how many guards will come along with the vampire.
