Thanks, Paul for the advice. I think the only logical action Tazskan can do is first try and break free of the Vampires grapple.
I pictured, in my mind someone trying to wriggle away, and almost like reflex kick at her shins.
But, also the initial shock, and pain of having been bitten in the neck itself.
If the the time to do all of that, is simultaneous to everyone else finnishing their action/movement then that's ok. Including Cratol, thats ok, Tazskan, apparently isn't moving anywhere in a hurry.
Understood. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of all your options. Grappled in this case is as if she is holding you by the sleeve, allowing you to still swing your sword or cast a spell with no penalty. But if you are going for the break out, I am sure that now Daishain will add in your Proficiency Bonus to the Athletics check. I hope it's enough. On the bright side, if it works, even Legendary Resistance won't help, since that only works for Saving Throws… at least, that is how I understand it.
Thats a good point, you made about being grappled.
But, it would still be difficult swinging the two hander sword, as she is behind him. There is the initial shock, of being bitten from behind also.
Hopefully, the hound, and pseudodragon can distract her enough to release her grip?
Logically, your right, Tazskans next available action would be to swing his two handed sword, coupled with divine smite at the Vampire. It would be the Paladin thing to do. Especially, within melee.
But, for that I await outcome of everyones move.
Come on Anron. Maybe Taz will fall and become a vampire spawn. That could be very useful to this party *wink* We are fine with the dead being animated. That's the next step up in the chain.
I love a certain Vampire game. I will tell you right now that I wouldn't mind Lora being bitten and turned into a vampire.

Sheesh! Don't SAY things like that! Dai might take you up on it!
Taz, the game allows for shock and such in the way the combats go, you can describe it for Role-playing Game purposes, but you don't need to add mods or rolls or anything for it. Breaking the grip has to come first, as she auto-hits/crits while attached.
