Yes I am with you in that. We finish the long rest Cratol and Poljen get the remove curse so they do not turn and then clear out the rest of the castle except the dragon. Then hopefully another long rest.

I don't know how much horse meat we packed for the griffons. So I don't know how long they can stay posted outside before we go on the menu. Also they might attract the attention of the dragon if they are flying around.

Didn't you fly them up to the balcony through which you entered and came to the fight with the giants? So they should be up there on the balcony. As for food, we have rations. If they won't eat those, check the kitchen, which I assume is close to the banquet hall. Maybe there is food there you can offer them.

It is more likely than not for you guys to have packed supplies for several days, including feed for the gryphons. I mean, I assume you guys weren't treating this as a one way trip.

That sounds reasonable to me. I just didn't want to make any assumptions. It allows us to make up for the limited number that can teleport.

Sorry to lead you guys on a bit about the gryphons. It just wouldn't be in character for these guys to leave you an escape route intact if they could help it, and they did do a thorough sweep of the place once alerted that something was up.

No need to feel sorry for that it helps the game play as two griffons would be hard not to spot. They should have been hidden better at least someplace where they could fight better.
