For the Dungeon Master, despite the fact that the bonus would have made it possible success, how would it work me with rolling a natural 1 but the final result being an unnatural 20? Is it a fumble or failed roll, despite the result still being decent overall?

Unfortunatly, I don't have 500 core posts yet to get my first gem. So will need to wait.
Because, Tazskan can speak draconian, do you think that might assist with him trying to charm the dragon, as a last resort? Another spell he hasn't used yet. Forget that thought, he can only charm a humanoid creature.
Yes, I would like to develop my pseudodragon a bit more, its limited by its size. But, can it learn or hone its skills? Stinging? Biting? Can it read?

Making the familiars more durable almost has an adverse affect. Right now enemies ignore them because they are a nuisance only. Let them be more than a nuisance and they will find themselves being targeted a lot more.
That's why I like having advantage so much on rolls. There is always the chance of rolling a 1. Rolling that same 1 twice in a row is much less likely.

In regards to Croftstr's questions:
First off, please keep most queries here, that way I can answer them here with less chance of confusion.
1. I don't know, you were able to make it this far without invisibility. Whether you spend the resources on that advantage now or not is up to you.
2. Pretty much every inch of the place has some ice on it, and the air is more than cold enough to frost your breath.
3. No, I'm afraid it requires attunement before it is effective. That process takes an hour.
In regards to Anron's query about the familiars: We'll see. I'm still debating the merits of expanding the role of familiars at all. As much as I like the idea, they're powerful tools already.

Familiars are a lot more powerful and expendable in 5th than they were in 2nd. They use to cost 1,000gold you could not see through their eyes and if they ever died you would permanently lose a point of constitution if you didn't straight up die.
Daish, is it possible to get an updated tactical map. I would rather, know before hand before rushing into battle. It would be common sense for my character not to proceed any further into the cavern. But to stop before going any further. Also actively listening and watching. But prudent for the stealthier psuedodragon to find a quiet place to perch, on the ceiling and observe. Will post in main thread.
