I'm going to roll my Wisdom save, on DC14 here before I do any other action, including movement.
As a poor roll, would indicate that my character would retreat away from the Dragon, in this case to the cavern mouth?
But I do have a query about whether Dragonborn characters, have any resistances to actually being frightened by such a beast.
The logic, I use here is that sometime in the past the Dragonborn race had a unique relationship with Dragons as a whole. Which involved them looking after or watching over Dragon eggs. But then there was a fallout between them both, and their relationship deteriorated.
So I was wondering if Dragonborn were perhaps somewhat used to their appearance, a little, and hence less frightened? Unfortunately, the rule book, is silent about this, and provides no definitive answer.
So as always the GM, has the last say, so I will leave any modifiers if any to your discretion Dai.
Obviously, if I make the save, and only then will I be able to make a retaliatory movement and corresponding attack (In main thread that is). So cross fingers and toes, see you in a bit!
Amabalis, the (Psuedodragon) is obviously keeping his distance from the Dragon, as was previously ordered. As he wasn't seen, and because of current position of Dragon, he is closer to Cavern mouth.
Poljen failed his first save so he won't engage in melee this round. It will be Cratol without his barbarian friend in close combat. If/when Cratol goes down once he will be back to 3 levels of exhaustion again.
I'm glad that this dragon is intelligent. I enjoy challenges. This dragon might just provide one.
Most people are not making their saves vs Fear looks like Cratol will have to kick this dragons butt for at least this round until Poljen is able to get his wits about for next round. Maybe Cratol will distract it from eating any of the others.
