Wow, Lawrence can now see invisible opponents. Your certainly not vision impaired. Sounds like, you went to town in the markets.
Yes, our group will be very difficult to sneak up on or surprise. The Robe of Many Eyes is a great magic item. Clerics of Lathander will need to remember not to stand close by Lawrance. Sunlight equivalent spells are not fun for the wearer of the robe. .
Ky, I put absolutely everything not claimed by others in the dragon horde on Velon's inventory so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle, including the spare diamonds. I even put it in a separate list as 'party items' or something of the sort to differentiate between his personal items like the mace that is now his primary weapon or the one potion he did claim for himself.
People are, of course, more than welcome to claim any of these items at any time or also borrow almost any of Velon's personal items too, such as the silence stone that is often shared to make the best use of it. For the stone, Velon had simply claimed it long, long ago so he holds it much of the time. If no specifically stealthy task is at hand it's good for him to use it when we're all creeping around to stay quiet. A chain is only as good as it's weakest link when it comes to the guy in plate waking the whole dungeon!
PS. To that regard, if anyone else such as Tazskan ends up in heavy armor granting disadvantage to stealth they can huddle close to Velon when creeping though a dungeon to share the benefits of the stone negating all of the noise they make. Something for us both to remember Anron *smile*.
I would be willing to post again, though as of right now I am waiting on a post by the Dungeon Master before doing so. In part so know what the results Zarra's shopping and seeing what might be available in black market areas.
If I should post again, let me know.
Zarra was able to find a +2 bow easily enough. She was unable however to find a silence stone like the one Velon carries. A mage tells her that he might be able to reproduce the effect described, but it would take him a few weeks at least of experimentation.
Thanks Daishain, I will get to making my post. That way I can have Zarra catch up with the others. Also, nothing involving any black market deals or items?
Velon, Tazskan is now wearing mithral plate. Has a +2 to agility check. So at least, he won't sound like an elephant parading arround in a China shop.
However, if you bunk up with Lawrence (Ha Ha), he will be able to see an invisible stawker from a distance!
You guys have another two days before Cratol's third ballista is ready. The most efficient course of action would be to load up Poljen, his guide, and the two gryphons, and take the castle east. Presuming Poljen's meeting does not take more than a few hours, that would get you back in time for the siege equipment delivery.
If on the other hand, Poljen departs on his own, it will take him the better part of 6 days to complete the round trip.
