People can pretty much assume they're not catching much in the way of shiftiness from "Penelope" Whether they think this is from "Her" being an excellent liar, or because she's telling the truth, that's up to them.

I'm so glad this isn't a serious battle that needed a high Dispel roll! I rolled a 4 *smile* This is going to be one of the most difficult party joins I've ever been involved in, I'm sure.
