Is it 26, 29 or more? *laugh* I recall 3.5 when you would get Epic skill check bonuses. "You just found out how many coins they have in their pockets from the tracks. And what magic item command words all their gear uses. And… "No doubt, having all these people helping her out on skill checks would also look funny.
Anron, you might be better served for now keeping your familiar close. If he is sighted he will stick out quite badly. He provides magic resistance to you if he is within 10 feet. That would be very helpful for you. That Is up to Dungeon Master ruling though I suppose. It is a grey area the way the rules are worded. I've seen it ruled both ways. Just an option for you to think about Anron.
Yes, there are a few grey area's, take the effectiveness of divine sense.
As to your query about the pseudodragon being close and not far.
The last round (In main thread) my pseudodragon, rolled nicely on perception and stealth.
Unless, there is even a small bonus, (Magic) for having him kept close, I will let him continue.
But, I can use the beast speach Innovation next round anyhow at no cost to spell slots.
So, are we setting up camp in this area?
If we are then, is there a plan for night watch?
If all those that do have nightvision, are not concerned, about camping for the night.
Then, expect the others, including Tazskan will be lighting up a torch, so they can also see, in the dark.
Tazskan, will take a watch, but will have a campfire, and the psuedodragon to aid him.
It's not decided about camping yet Anron. There is a good chance that the group we are chasing went underground somewhere in the ruins. We need to determine if the tracks end here or keep going past the ruins.
If we do camp here I would be hesitant about starting a fire. It would announce our presence to the area. Those with darkvision can stand watch and in the event of an attack we can then bring light to the darkness.
