So you are the only one that has real world problems to deal with? We all have to deal with such things. It's called life. I'm sorry to put you on the spot. I don't think it's right for the entire game to be held up for 2 days due to one player. Seven or eight people waiting on one. You knew we were at a critical point in the game that involved Zarra. She was about to snatch the mask right under the dragon's nose.
You want us to stop utilizing stealth because you can't post at the frequency we agreed to in the beginning? If we do that, what good is Zarra? That would take away her specialty. It's not like this game requires hours a day. If you are busy post a very basic entry that gives the needed rolls. I've done that from time to time myself. You aren't the only one that has a busy life.
Mari can take the lead scouting if needed as well. I've done that before when you couldn't post regularly. Again, why play a rogue if you can't be available many times in situations like this? Play a character that stays with the group. That way there is no pressure on you at all.

Both Zarra and Mari both succeeded with their rolls, well done to you both.
But I still don't know if the psuedodragon had intercepted the enemies familiar?
Neither does the other party know if they are spotted, by that familiar either? Its now a race against time also.
I can give you the tip, right now, with the prospect of facing a hoard of creatures, all at once. It may require a spell that deals collateral damage?
Now, it looks like the invisibility, and most likely the telepathic connection gets dropped, as the scouting trio are engaging the enemy.
Meanwhile, the so called cavalry are still charging headlong into an eminent battle.

Wow! Even with Advantage, those are some lousy rolls. Even with the elf only wearing a robe and no armor, I am quite sure the second attack misses, since he is now aware of Poljen's presence. Ugh. Too bad the first attack doesn't get an auto-[Critical Hit]… well, it should still slow down the bad guys since they now have to deal with the lumbering barbarian.
Daishain it may be a few in game seconds too soon to have gotten a response, but please let us know as this unfolds if Velon is able to communicate with the castle, if they respond, and how far out they might say they are regarding a pickup and/or help partway through any outdoor battles. I know Velon may have to describe where they are, although I'm a little unsure of how to describe any specifics of the terrain in character and all of that.
Try to include Zarra even less. Got it. Not more brute force please, however, ugh. We already tried that strategy (Aka no strategy) against the last dragon, leaving chaos and all heals going to Cratol instead of our tank, Poljen, and, ugh, what a mess it was!
It's not like I planned on continuing to play as a rogue, not that I stayed with Zarra because everyone seemed to like her. Even I have enjoyed roleplaying as her but still, I stayed with her because I thought that is what everyone wanted.
Also Cinder, I'm not so much saying to include Zarra less simply to make it that we go into different missions involving more of the party. Its not my fault that Velon or Poljen hasn't had the chance to fight in a while, and I do not agree with the implication that it is my fault. Doesn't help that there have been times I have been available, but its not my time to post.
It's better to just post something and have a roll than to wait for the perfect time and the perfect post. It's not your fault that we haven't had combat in two months. It's your fault that we have waited two days however.
Once again you act as if you are the only one that has to pay bills, has struggles etc. We all do.
You should decide what type character that you play. Not us. You are the one playing it. Someone told you that before.
If you are front and center and simply can't post for a few days then let Daishsin know in your introduction. That way he can NPC her.

IMO, waiting two days in a Play By Post system isn't that big a deal unless the Dungeon Master has stipulated that players have a time limit in which to post. Even the Dungeon Master himself has taken more than a day or two to post, during busy times. While personally I get impatient for the next posts to appear and the game to progress, that's because I'm still enamored of table top, where everyone is continually making rolls and moves and you only have the time window you set aside to play.
As far as stealth plans go, yes, they should be included in every campaign as a hack 'n slash is dull, when that's all you do. This isn't an arcade game, it's far more flexible and dynamic, even though the re-write of rules into 5e makes it more like one. I loved the idea of having our stealth players take the lead and get the mask, because a primary goal should always be kept in mind. If we don't need to fight the BBEG, let's not. I was even thinking we could have sent an Earth Elemental underground to snatch the mask and bring it back, once we had mapped the lair out, as an option.
I do not mind if someone takes a bit longer than normal to post. If it's an issue the Dungeon Master can step in and keep the action moving, if there is a limit.
