Normally I would target a weaker target, but I figured Poljen going unconscious next round would be a disaster. He only has 24 HP left so it could happen versus a dragon. This way he gets another 157 HP and our tank stays up. I used it more for the "Healing" than actual damage. But it does do good damage too.
Perry can heal a little bit from far away, but it's really only good for when people go down.
Well since Paul has aspirations of Poljen solo'ing dragons with his remaining 24HP and would never want any help, I'll say it instead.
"Thanks for the 157HP buff, Seath! Great teamwork and strategy! Good bang for our buck with that spell slot, I just hope it isn't dispelled. Crossing my fingers! It takes a village to take down a dragon, after all. I could never do it alone. Losing Poljen next round when our main healer is already down would surely be disastrous, this was a great move. Go TEAM!"
So sue me… I have pride, just as Poljen does. And I don't deny this is a good tactical move. That's why I am going with it. But I like doing my thing, my way. Forgive me for being less than effusive.
Daishain, here's a greedy question. Poljen gets an extra die of damage on a critical strike. So in your rules he gets an extra average of two dice damage. The ape just got a critical, and his damage dice are 3d10. Does he get an extra 4d10 average, which rolls out to 22 by calculation?
So far both Velon, and Perry have just done a couple of brilliant moves.
Fortunately for them both, Velon's move comes before, Neronvain, and Perry's move before Chuth.Thank's to the revised initiative order.
But, the wild card is with Nerovain, and Tazskan's move will happen after his.
Would it be helpful if Morgaine shot some arrows at the prince, since she was unable to get into melee range because of the cube?
Your arrows of dragon slaying, obviously would be better used against Chuth.
Yes, the ordinary ones, you could use against Nerovain. My turn, will unfold after Nerovain, unfortunately.
Morgaine is after you, Taz. I would not use the dragon ones on him..that be a waste. Would use my reg ones and aim for his heart, since he doesn't have one.
