Well the post has been made, though I can make edits if needed. I did have her agree to being disguised and in using a hat of disguise… With one request made of the King when Zarra meets with him.
I've now made the changes, for Tazskan's upgrade to level 10. Which includes, either upgrading or replacing redundant invocations.
Main changes are: An extra invocation, not requiring a spell slot to use, bringing total to five.
Swaping out agonizing eldritch blast to eldritch spear: Which means damage, is now unmodified, however range is increased to 300 feet.
Keeping ascendant step, removing communicate with beasts.
Removing eldritch push, not effective against large creatures.
Instead having minions of chaos, Tazskan, now has the ability, to summon an elemental for one hour as an action, without the need of using a spell slot.
Also having fiendish vigor, Tazskan because of his level, can aquire 40+1d4+4 temporary hit points for one hour.
* amount of spells, and type, level is unchanged.
However, Tazskans mind can no longer be read using telepathy, if he will.
Not only that, if a creature gives him psychic damage, then that creature will simultaneously receive the same amount of damage!
Anron, I noticed a couple of things about your leveling up. Fiendish vigor aka false life grants 1D4 plus 4 temporary hit points at 1st level. It increases by 5 temporary hit points per spell level, not character level. It will be cast at 5th level since that is the level of everything that Taz casts. It will grant 24 hitpoints plus D4.
I also noticed that you changed out agonizing blast in order to increase the range. I can't recommend strongly enough against this. Increased range rarely is needed. Lia has sharpshooter which lets her ignore penalties for long range among other things. It has helped her maybe once or twice. Almost all encounters are at short range. Agonizing blast is what makes Eldritch blast the best cantrip in the game. With agonizing blast added to EB it is the only cantrip or spell for the matter that allows you to add a modifier to the damage of not one bolt but up to 4. You would be giving up an automatic 3 or 4 points of damage to each ray that hits. That's a huge difference in your damage dealing potential. It's your character so do what you will. Just wanted you to know that a lot of people dip into warlock for a level only to get Eldritch Blast with agonizing blast combined. It's that good.
Fiendish Vigor SPECIFICALLY says that you can cast false life on yourself at will as a 1st-level spell. It will always be 1d4+4. The 'selective' reading in this game really does astound me. Over 40 temp HP an unlimited number of times per day would be a bit absurd, don't you think?
I HIGHLY recommend people use the character sheets that Seath set up for them, too, by the way.
At the risk of angering the gods, let me just hint that I know for sure that you are familiar with and have access to said excellent character sheets elsewhere that track everything and do all math for you *wink*
Not sure Seath felt the need to specifically create one for you, though, but he'd probably be willing to do so within the same campaign as the rest for the sake of content sharing if nothing else.
