Hey, works for me!
What to home brew, what to home brew… I'm going with smite being any damage type I want and not costing spell slots any more. Mark it down.
Velon is also now a robot with 30AC and 472HP now, for fun. Because he's a robot, he doesn't need to rest, and thus refreshes all resources immediately after we leave initiative.
Eh, screw it, Velon is now just invincible and auto-passes all saving throws. Divine stuff and all that… I'll go do the mages in the maze guys. Will take it to side stories.
God I love home brewing class stuff…
Nah bro, let's just home brew that right now.
Polychromatic dragon though. He's any color I want him to be at any given time, changing abilities at will. People also have to tell him he's special. It's in the rules I'm writing…
Sorry, but that's a no to spell hotswapping. The big limit on a wizard's power is the need to anticipate what spells are needed in a day, I'm not compromising that. Especially not for a character that is pretty darn good at such predictions
As to polychromatic bolt, Knight asked about the idea a while back. A variant of fire bolt that did less damage but was more flexible on damage type. I've gone back and forth since on whether it was a good idea to grant the request, though I don't think it has been majorly disruptive.

Speaking of homebrew, and houserules, Dai what would you be willing to allow for each of our characters here?
At least Gk, has 14 spells to use per day, and a stack of spell slots. Not to bad eh?
Taz, has a limit of two slots at 5th level, not counting the pact keepers benefit either. He doesn't always get the benefit of a short rest.
While we are at it, throw in some steampunk devices aswell? I hear the Dwarves, are good with their metalcraft.
A big badass battle, with the platnium dragon Bahamut, and the red Tiamat, dragon now that would be a sight to see?
Taz, Warlocks get their slots back after a Short Rest, which technically gives you at least 8 spell slots at highest level. That's similar to what we were talking about with Wizards. Warlocks have their own advantages.
