(Laugh), wanted to leave room for input from others, or at least Poljen since he's really into this kind of thing, instead of Velon just deciding. If it's easier Velon can just divide up the melee, magical and healing talent into two relatively balanced groups so we can move forward and no one's in-character feelings are hurt by being picked last in kickball *wink*.
I will definitely will have Poljen offer his ideas, but I would expect you to have Velon give his thoughts/reactions, and let others reply as well. These teams might not bas as tactically balanced as I would do normally, but Poljen's not as crafty as I am. He has his reasons for going this route though…
So, its Poljen, Mari, Lia and Taz that's ok. Our team, would do well to attack the fighters, not the magic users, if it all possible?
My main contribution, will be eldritch blast covering fire. However, I do have one 5th level, slot remaining.
For emergencies that is, it also depends which team has to face Cyanwrath, and that female mage type?
Which, surely now warants a detailed tactical map. With exit and entry points?
Okay, we're talking about a larger area than I can usefully map for you.
The bulk of the forces are gathered just in front of the tower, roughly thirty people, including the commander and the mysterious woman he was speaking with. About thirty are scattered around the perimeter. According to Winter, he can put you almost anywhere in the yard, including right behind the commander's group.
Daishain, as per Poljen’s post and Velon’s previous question to Winter, I think we’re waiting to hear from him regarding any information of how this new construct will affect our battle plan. Friendly fire a concern from these crazy wizards? Where will they enter the battlefield? What weapons does it have and do we need to stay clear of their range? Etc
Want to understand, why would one avoid taking out a squishier caster Anron? I may be forgetting something about the description of these troops.
Dungeon Master, before we get too crazy with splitting the party here, what would be the approximate distance between the two parties if they each started on opposite ends of the space near the perimeters? I'm having a rough time picturing just how far away the other party would be if they got in trouble. I just don't want this to turn into another "Party is a mile away from the others in a death cave" scenario.
