Just roll initiative once per combat please. The scale of battles with 8-10 PCs and a commensurate number of hostiles is… interesting enough to handle without the order of everyone's actions shifting between rounds.

The nearest would be five men on horseback, they're armed with simple lances, and looked like they were hoping to catch someone in the open to impale them.
Just behind that first group, are a mixture of drakes and giant weasels, the latter of which are being ridden by kobolds, who seem to mostly be using javelins.
In the rear is a dwarf on horseback, he doesn't seem to be carrying a weapon, but does seem to be responsible for the sudden stormcloud overhead.
Can you give us a description of the battlefield again and where our players are as opposed to the attackers. Seeing Poljen in trouble Fay would go to him if he has a clear path. Also, I take it the Rector's actions give us the 1D4? Is that correct?
Basically, there is a mosh pit in between the corners of the two houses with the party tanks caught up inside. Fay is on the northern edge of the melee. The other three are on top of the northern roof. Both the spellcasting dwarf and the rector are on their own for the moment, on opposite sides of the fight.
Fay and Poljen specified they went to opposite houses, so I am afraid the former does not by any means have a clear path to the latter at the moment. You could get to him this round, but you'd be risking attacks of opportunity along the way. You could also back off and take a wider path, but that will take more than one round, and the field may very well change in the meantime.
And yes, the rector was responsible for the earlier bless spell, he cast it when you guys were expecting trouble in the temple, but the duration on that ran out as of this past round.

Okay, two last questions. Is there a point say 22'-25' out that Fay could target to cast a 2nd level sleep spell that would affect only bad guys and not his allies, or are we in too much of a hodge podge at this point? Second, is there a bad guy within Fay's reach or does he have to move one, thus opening himself up to an AoO?
