Quietly, Kresnik says, "I would advise some prudence. Davik is similar to Draugr in some respects, but displays abilities not known to them. The wiser course may be to answer his claim or convince him the proof is unneeded."
"It may also be the more merciful course, it is possible this spirit's hunger for revenge is all that binds it here."

"No Kresnik" Mykael says resolutely "I sense evil from it. We cannot allow it linger, we must destroy it! Jesla, this thins aura of evil is not faint I'm not convinced it could be taken on so easily one-on-one"
Out of Character: : And so that annoying quality of the goody-goody paladin that cannot tolerate the presence of evil finally rears its head!
Jesla laughs. " Say no more Mykael. We will destroy it together I would have hated missing out on it." She steps towards the corpse. The barbarian will strike when he is within reach. She raises her great sword over her head and brings it down with all her might.
Specific Action: She will be attacking using power attack. Damage for each attack is 2d6 + 12.
"We have already thrown his body into the Tuskwater Lake that the Shrike flows through. His head was delivered to the Swordlords of Restov," I answer. To the others, I remind somewhat sharply, "We are a nation of laws. Someone might be evil, but if no evil action is taken, their general philosophy is not enough to warrant action on our part. The trolls were a different matter because we heard them discussing if they should feed a captive or not - one that they planned on eating."
Davik turns his head downstream, pauses to think, and turns back to Archival. "I am bound to the site of my death. The head I will not recognise. You will retrieve the body for me or I will plague your minds in your sleep! Agreed?"
Jesla stops in mid stride. She sheaths her sword angrily. The barbarian thinks " I do not understand this. Evil is evil. Are we going to allow evil creatures such as trolls and orcs to inhabit this land? " She gets back on her horse without a word.
Nodding, I reply, "I cannot guarantee success, but we have some friends we might be able to ask to find the body. My friends here already wish to end your existence. I would caution against plaguing our dreams. Such an action would cause me to side with them in their intent. Question - if we find the Stag Lord's body and bring it here, will that enable you to finally rest Davik?"
In reply to Jesla, "We all agreed upon our laws. Many have just advocated attacking an individual that offered them no threat of harm. One of us even attacked that individual despite them having stated their intent to be peaceful… A grave and evil act in itself. An act unworthy of the man I thought I had come to know and respect," I chide.
Countering her question, I answer with a question. "Are kobolds not often evil in nature?"
Turning to Mykael I ask, "Did we not prove that we are capable of co-existence with those that do not prescribe to our own moral philosophies?"
Jesla looks at Archival with puzzlement in her face. " So if those trolls we met hadn't mentioned a hostage we let them go? The child would have been eaten. It's what they do. I don't see how we form a kingdom here and allow trolls and orcs not to mention other creatures to live here. They kill humans. They are evil. I wouldn't want to live down the road from trolls. People will die from this policy. When trolls are allowed here even though they are evil and children are taken and killed what will be said? We are sorry, they hadn't committed evil before that. People will not want to settle here with their families. " Jesla frowns. " It's your kingdom. I merely work here. That is my opinion. I will do as you say. "
