Jesla hears Archival and frowns. " We still know nothing of this dead creature's true motivations. Are we to naively trust what it says? The only things we know for sure about it are one it is evil and two it is dead. Mykael can verify that it registers as evil. While there can be debate about whether the evil is the creature or the enchantment we cannot know for sure."
Jesla studies the others. " Giving the dead thing what it wants might free it to cause untold mischief. If it did enter Theaton's mind in this way then it shows it's true colors. No good being would do what Theaton describes. That is an act of evil. We are judging everything including dead things by their acts right? I'm not saying to not help Theaton but we need to think this through carefully. "

"What if all he truly seeks is the peace of the grave? What if giving him succor by proving the Stag Lord has been defeated will truly work in releasing Davik's grip from the mortal realm? If he truly is desperate, mayhaps this is the one recourse he has to ensure he secures his final rest? I would rather err on the side of doing what I feel is good and right in order to help Theaton assuage this dream of his, than stand idly by and do nothing to aid him. Theaton and I might disagree from time to time, but I count him as a friend. For a man that has only a small circle of such associations, each of their wellbeing is important to me. When my family was murdered, it took a long time for me -" stopping abruptly, I clench my jaw and end flatly, "I have decided what I will do to help both Theaton and Davik, if possible. I know not everyone is capable of exploring the waters, but I will reach out to anyone I can to ensure this struggle ends."
"No good creature should attack another unprovoked too, yet some did. As far as I'm concerned, whether Davik be the cause of the dreams or not, we should do everything we can to help Theaton. He is obviously under considerable duress."

It is none of the fey that respond to Theaton, but rather the Faerie Dragon, Perlivash, who appears as he emerges from a bush he was hiding in. His tiny, blue body shines in sunlight, contrasted with his orange butterfly wings. "You don't think Tyg would leave you alone, did you Theaton? She said I am to guard you and relay any information. I think Bal and Neenah are near your place, I haven't met the other two, but when Tyg was telling me about them, they were last seen heading back into the lake."
"Is there anything I can answer for you? Or shall I go and bring them to your town?"
Since Theaton is not sharing the dream he had, Caelum only suspects he is uncomfortable with something.

Kyra pondered the situation described to her, finding herself grow quiet as she considered what decision could be made with what was explained to her. This, along with many others like it, was what reminded the young paladin how the world was so very often not black and white, but often many shades of grey.
Kyra would offer this detail though, "All undead register as evil given how their very being is an affront to life, apart from rumors involving certain elves. That shouldn't prevent those of intelligence to be trusted or be helped. More often then not those of such a state are forced into such, so should have our sympathy." There was more, but she left it at that.
While yes, the intend was to protect those they cared about the two still did break the very laws they helped create. Yet it was were no one else would know and thus her words before many not apply as strongly. Still, they should have been an example of the ideals of the nation they seek to build and Davik had not wanted to fight until so provoked.
The chosen one decided to sleep on the issue, offering a fuller decision of sorts as she had been asked. Still, she would explain that since she had not been there or in any position really involve herself so her words should only be taken in consideration. She did not yet truly know those just met so their character or beliefs were more a mystery at this point.

Out of Character: Whoops! I totally missed the "Of course, nobody else is a witness to this and it's very difficult to tell if he's affected or injured." I was on my phone while at work. Tiny screen + only small bits of time to read and post = Jacking up posts and misreading things.
Ignore the bits of my posts that deal with that unless we can tell he's obviously fatigued due to lack of sleep, crying out in his sleep, or shares with everyone what's going on. As it stands, my actions of summoning and looking for the body will stand. As will attempting to contact Yarrow to enlist his aid in recovery of the headless body.
Theaton continues to sit in water at the edge of the river. When Perlivash shows up he says. "I know Tyg watches over me or has others watch over me. If you can contact Tyg and the others I mentioned and have them come visit me here I would very much like to talk to them." White Fang is sitting on the bank watching to make sure that nothing comes to attack Theaton.
When daylight comes to the camp the others will see that Theaton is not in the camp. His horse is still there and his bedroll. White Fang is not there either.
Out of Character: I simply does a slight readjustment when it came to my post, treating Kyra's words as something she says before going to bed. There was nothing that could only relate to what just happened.
