Yes split the cost of the poison among all the leaders so it can be paid for. Theaton will order his things be brought to the castle and the room at the inn paid for. HE will agree that Jesla continues to train with him but in the castle courtyard where he can be watched still.
" Yes, Baron Theaton. " Jesla frowns at Kyra once more before following Theaton. She glances to Kundal and nods in respect.
Out of Character: : Jesla will wish to finish up her training as quickly as possible. Edited: Kyrroeth on 28th May, 2017 - 7:24pm
She listens as everything is discussed, and notices Jesla's frown towards her. Kyra hopes the woman was not displeased with her, before turning to Kundal and saying, "See, everything will be taken care of. There is nothing to worry about."
Specific Action: Kyra will be doing some training herself, if she hasn't yet caught up with the others, though make sure to be available if perhaps Kundal wants someone to talk to or have an audience for his stories.
Other then that, she will continue with whatever is needed to best prepare herself for the full responsibilities as Grand Diplomat. Kyra will wish to prove herself for the role, to show she is capable and able in what is required of the paladin. Edited: Thomaslee on 29th May, 2017 - 1:44am
The researchers inform Kresnik of the dangers of handling poison, instructing him in their technique and suggesting they assist you. One man will not get much done - even a genius like Kresnik might take a couple weeks to complete one dose.
After the first week, Jesla finally has the time to properly meditate and understand magic on a spiritual level - and turn her anger towards actively blocking it. On the fifth day it just clicks and all falls into place.
Kyra trains by doing adventurer's chores, clearing dire rats and helping the guard.
Out of Character: It cost 360 gp per dose, so 72 gold each.
Kresnik needs to roll 2 Craft (Alchemy) checks because there's a penalty for fumbling. Also spend 26 gold on materials and choose whether or not to accelerated craft. Please include a 'Belladonna Lab (+2 craft, 80gp/dose)' in your items.
Not sure how far behind Kyra is - in two weeks I'll have the time to do everything I said I would do. But she should catch up quickly, so I'll take an additional downtime activity if you wish to pursue one.
How do Theaton and Mykael spend their downtime? Simply assisting the populace? Edited: iCon on 29th May, 2017 - 3:35pm
Out of Character: Well if I can pick an additional down time activity, perhaps she can simple mingle with the citizenry. Offering words and stories from her homeland of Katapesh to those she meets, even the children if they will listen.
Yet more importantly, start creating connections within the kingdom with the hope that such may be useful for the future. Either that, or simply good will among the citizenry for such activity though it may not effect stability or anything like that. I want to start having her make a name for herself. Out of Character: : Icon, since Jesla finished her superstition training in the first week, I would like her to use her downtime after that to catch up to everyone in xp. Mykael is no longer in the game?
I'm looking forward to us getting into combat now. We will have to adjust how we will handle it. We have one melee character, one support and two ranged characters. Edited: Kyrroeth on 29th May, 2017 - 4:06pm
Kresnik spends the next few weeks getting people and resources together for the academy. He is particularly interested in finding capable administrators to keep things running when other duties call him away.
