I much prefer rolling d4's as they're small and quite unusually sharp looking. That makes scythes in Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and Pathfinder a personal favourite.
Recently I watched a video on Platonic Solids and leaned that a d10 is not an ideal die. I have a newfound dislike for them now.
I like rolling D20's in tabletop games. In play by text not so much. With the embedded dice roller [it] seems very hit or miss for me. A lot more miss lately. Aliana has failed most important rolls so far. I think Zinna has probably failed all but one D20 check in the current adventure.
Always been the d20 for me, very iconic but for some reason I like the d10 as well maybe because of the versatility of it. The d10 can give you a number from 1 to 10 but also if rolled twice can give you a percentage roll it can also be used in dice pools and give you a fifty/fifty roll (Odds or evens) but still I think role playing game and I immediately think d20.
