The breaking new reports are saying a second person has died as a result of this shooting. How tragic this is. What does this say of our society if you are not even safe to attend worship services on Sunday? If you are not safe in church are you safe anywhere?

| KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (CNN) -- A shotgun-wielding man opened fire at a Unitarian church during a children's play Sunday morning, killing one adult and wounding eight others before being overpowered by worshippers, police said. Adkisson is not believed to have been a member of the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, and investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, Knoxville Police Chief Sterling Owen told reporters.
